Annalise Lujan is the latest child suffering from seizures to be treated with the cannabis derivative CBD
A 12-year-old girl with a rare form of epilepsy has stopped suffering from life-threatening seizures after doctors treated her with cannabis oil.
The annual meeting of the American Epilepsy Society took place in early December, where the largest study presented there confirmed the astounding benefits of medical cannabis to treat seizures.
Epilepsy affects one in 26 Americans during their lifetime, “with one-third having a form of the condition that resists treatment or effective management.” Children and young adults are particularly affected by this debilitating condition.
The findings of this study add to the growing body of evidence that cannabidiol (CBD), a non-psychoactive extract of cannabis, can provide the best option for treatment-resistant epilepsy.
Of 261 patients given CBD treatment, 45% experienced a significant reduction in seizure frequency, and 9% were seizure-free at 3 months. Some children continued to experience benefits after the trial ended, even one year after.
The primary transmission of prion diseases is ingestion of prions from the Central Nervous System (Brain, Eyes, Spine and Spinal Fluid) of animals. These unwanted ‘left overs’ were used in animal ‘feed’ for ‘protein’ and ‘mystery meats’ (hotdogs, etc) as ‘filler’. These resilient, nearly indestructible by nature, or cooking, individual factories of plague were spread throughout the populations (animal and human) and around the planet awaiting their ‘activation’ by hydration.
– Pork Tapeworms in the Brain (Feb 25, 2012):
A pair of new studies underscore the U.S. public health threat of neurocysticercosis—quite literally having pork tapeworm larvae curled up inside one’s brain—now the most common cause of adult-onset epilepsy in the world. The first study, The Impact of Neurocysticercosis in California, concluded that “Neurocysticercosis causes appreciable disease and exacts a considerable economic burden in California,” with estimated annual hospital charges exceeding $17 million. The second study, published two weeks ago, is the first to follow the cognitive function and quality of life of those living with these brain parasites.
As you’ll see in today’s NutritionFacts.org video pick below, even after one’s brain is infested with pork tapeworms, some people can go for years before the headaches and seizures start as the larvae begin to multiply. What the second study suggests, though, is that long before the more obvious symptoms present, those who are infected may suffer from mental, social, and cognitive dysfunction. (See video above).
The follow-up video, Avoiding Epilepsy Through Diet, details diagnosis and treatment and reports on a synagogue survey. If pork tapeworms can get inside the brains of orthodox Jews in Brooklyn, then I guess no one’s immune! Turns out it’s not only what we eat that may put us at risk, but also the diets of those who handle our food.

- Milly was irreversibly brain damaged by ‘the new thalidomide’
- Her mother was prescribed with sodium valproate to control epilepsy
- As many as 45,000 babies in the UK have been affected
Sometimes, on a soft grey morning, there comes a surge of happiness so intense that for a few, fleeting moments, all is right in my world. It is a treat, frequently indulged, for my grand-daughter Milly to trot down from her home upstairs to my granny-flat and to sleep with her nan, in my old brass bed. So I wake to wide eyes, just inches away, and when they meet mine, a beam crosses her face to light the skies.
– Epilepsy Foundation warning shows that television, movies can reprogram brain neurology (Natural News, Dec. 12, 2011):
Rapidly flashing lights and other fast-moving visual effects in movies, television, and video games can trigger sudden epileptic seizures and other neurological disorders in humans, and a recent warning by an epilepsy group confirms this. According to the Baltimore Sun, the Maryland-based Epilepsy Foundation recently issued a warning about the new, hit movie Breaking Dawn, which is part of the Twilight series, that essentially proves popular media’s ability to reprogram brain neurology.
Reports claim that an “intense birth scene” in Breaking Dawn that contains multi-colored visual strobe light effects has caused a number of moviegoers around the world to experience sudden seizures and other illness. And the trigger is allegedly so powerful and widespread that the Epilepsy Foundation has recommended that individuals prone to certain types of seizures avoid the film completely.
“If you were parents of a child with epilepsy, you would not send your child to the movie,” said Mimi Carter, director of communications at the Epilepsy Foundation, to reporters about the potential dangers of seeing the film. “Why would you risk it?”
A mother whose son suffered severe brain damage after being given the MMR vaccine as a baby has been awarded £90,000 compensation.
Jackie Fletcher has campaigned for compensation for her son Robert – now 18 – because she believed his severe epilepsy was triggered by the jab.
Now a tribunal has ordered that the payment be made, after concluding that it could be “no coincidence” that he suffered his first seizure 10 days after being vaccinated.
All injections carry the risk of extreme reactions, and in rare cases, children have been left brain-damaged by them.
