Sydney man Leigh Miller, 29, was diagnosed with advanced melanoma last year that spread to his liver, lung, blood and brain.
Most diseases are caused or aided by microbes and parasites. Due to antibiotics, steroidal drugs and chemotherapy our natural intestinal bacteria have been damaged and pathogenic microbes, especially fungi and mycoplasmas, are out of control. Commonly babies now become inoculated with pathogens already in the birth canal. Also microbes from childhood vaccinations may still be present, and there tend to be infection foci in root-canal treated teeth and possibly in scars from surgery. All of these greatly weaken our immune system and allow pathogenic microbes to invade the blood and internal organs. Now we become susceptible to frequent infections, autoimmune diseases, allergies, diabetes, heart disease and cancer. Pathogenic microbes are the underlying cause of basically all chronic diseases.
The Hidden Cause of Cancer and Autoimmune Diseases
For nearly a century we had increasingly strong evidence for a common microbial cause of cancer and autoimmune diseases but now we also have visual proof. A newly developed research microscope can show us in great detail what happens in the blood of individuals who develop these diseases. What it shows is that the key for understanding their cause and cure is the rise, or perhaps better the uprising, of an endogenous microbe in the blood.
Based on the work of Louis Pasteur in the late 19th century the scientific community adopted the concept of monomorphism. This means that microbes always maintain their basic shape as virus, bacterium or fungus. The term pleomorphism, on the other hand, as coined by the French chemist and biologist Antoine Béchamp (1816–1908), refers to the ability of microbes to change from one form into another, similar to a caterpillar changing into a butterfly.
An Overview of Holistic Healing
Conventional medicine and even many natural therapists do not understand key aspects of the immune system, how it works to protect, regenerate or even harm us, and this causes much suffering and premature death.
Imagine that you have advanced cancer but you are confident that you will beat it because you are doing the very best in natural healing, using the Gerson Therapy or something similar, essentially living on fresh organic juices and salads. All seems to go well, you feel good, but suddenly out of the blue comes a violent reaction with powerful inflammations all through the body. You end up in hospital but they cannot do anything to stop the inflammation. I encountered this situation when being asked what to do for a woman on Gerson Therapy [Certainly not done correctly. – I.U.] for breast cancer when she developed a strong inflammatory reaction. Days later she was put in hospital. I do not know which drugs she was given but 2 weeks later she was dead.
A similar pattern can be seen with the pioneering clinical cancer trials of Cameron and Pauling. Overall the outcome was positive because most of the terminal patients survived much longer than matched controls. But there was also a downside: just as with the Gerson therapy many patients died rather suddenly from powerful inflammations.
With the advent of flu season, many Americans feel they have no choice but to brace themselves for an inevitable bout of coughing, aching, feverish misery. It turns out that the much-touted flu vaccine that is being pushed unceasingly by federal health authorities may not be so effective after all. (Not to mention its hefty helpings of neurotoxins and contamination with the weed-killer glyphosate)
Thankfully, there is a better way: With an assist from a safe, natural plant-based compound, you can boost your body’s immunity and combat viral infections – including influenza A and B.
Quercetin: A natural disease-fighting powerhouse antioxidant
Quercetin is a bioflavonoid and potent antioxidant found in plants, where it functions to help them survive harsh weather conditions, while warding off infections and blight. Quercetin’s strong antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral properties make it a very promising treatment for combatting infections in humans as well.
Zinc isn’t talked about as much as other minerals; however, it is critical in immune system functioning and numerous other areas. While zinc deficiency can lead to a range of health problems, the benefits of zinc are foundational to many bodily processes. It is estimated that zinc helps to stimulate around 100 different types of enzyme activity in the body.
A zinc deficiency is linked with slow wound healing, chronic fatigue, growth impairment, hair loss, acne, osteoporosis, delayed sexual maturation and high cholesterol. One of the main benefits of zinc is its ability to assist the immune system in fighting infections. It is also crucial in synthesizing DNA.
A popular Asian fruit that looks kind of like a cucumber with warts, bitter melon has a long history of use in traditional cooking, holding a prominent place in both Indian and Chinese cuisine. But recent research out of St. Louis University (SLU) shows that bitter melon serves as a whole lot more than just a tasty gourd, showing viability in the prevention and treatment of cancer.
With the help of a $40,000 grant from the Lottie Caroline Hardy Charitable Trust, researchers from SLU are expanding their investigation into the anti-cancer effects of bitter melon, which has already shown that the fruit can prevent the growth and spread of breast cancer cells. This time around, Dr. Ratna Ray, Ph.D., a longtime advocate of bitter melon for medicinal use, is looking into how the fruit can help prevent prostate and other forms of cancer.
