A 76-year-old military veteran killed himself outside a Long Island Veteran Affairs facility Sunday after being denied treatment. He was reportedly seeking help for mental health issues at the Northport Veterans Affairs Medical Center but was turned away, an unfortunately common experience plaguing veterans seeking healthcare in recent years.

According to the New York Times, two people connected to the hospital spoke about the incident on the condition of anonymity. They explained “he had been frustrated that he was unable to see an emergency-room physician for reasons related to his mental health,” the Times reported.

“He went to the E.R. and was denied service,” one anonymous source said. “And then he went to his car and shot himself.”

(REUTERS) – Hungary plans to build a second fence on its southern border with Serbia that would enable it to keep out any major new wave of migrants, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said on Friday.

Orban said the new barrier, to be built alongside the existing one, would strengthen defences to respond if Turkey’s policy on migration changed. If that happened, hundreds of thousands could appear at Hungary’s border, he told public radio.

“Technical planning is under way to erect a more massive defence system next to the existing line of defence which was built quickly (last year),” Orban said.

Freedom Party candidate Norbert Hofer has extended his lead in new polls heading into the Austrian presidential re-run as he continues to dominate his rival Alexander Van der Bellen.

The polls show that Hofer is now leading the former Green Party leader by six percentage points, after the previous election in which they were both virtually tied. The October 2nd re-run of the second round of the presidential elections could play much differently because of recent terror attacks and instability in Turkey reports OE24.

The poll of 600 Austrian voters, conducted by polling agency Gallup on behalf of the Österreich newspaper, shows that Mr. Hofer continues to expand his lead on his opponent. Early polls last month showed a four percent lead for the FPÖ candidate who’s party had brought a complaint to the Austrian constitutional court over the postal voting that had won the election for Alexander Van der Bellen. The court found serious discrepancies in the postal ballots and determined that the election would be held again on October 2nd.

The MIT has even pressured German Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere to act against supporters of Imam Fethullah Gülen, the man President Recep Tayyip Erdogan blames for being behind the failed coup last month. The populist Alternative for Germany party (AfD) has proposed that Germany should detain and house migrants without passports in separate accommodation, a proposal that has been met with sharp criticism from the establishment.

Members of the party in the Saxony region have brought forth the idea, but the policy has been slammed by critics on the German establishment left who view the policy as inhumane reports Die Welt.

August 26/16: Issues with weapons integration on the F-35 have been found and could hinder an operational capabilities declaration external link, according to the Pentagon’s director of operational test and evaluation (DOT&E) . Challenges include the possibility, when the jet fires its 25mm cannon, that the aircraft could yaw as the gun door opens, reducing accuracy. Testing last December also threw up issues with AIM-9X missiles on the F-35C. Here testers found excess stress on the carrier-variant’s wing structure during landings and certain maneuvers. This could have an impact on the wing structure and might warrant a redesign on that part of the wing.

While rapists that admitted to their crimes are getting no jail time and no convictions, likely because they or their parents were wealthy, those that aren’t as financially well-endowed are being thrown into jail for the saddest reasons.

[If you understand how the system is designed you know that it is NOT “because they or their parents were wealthy”, it is because of the the law that governs the system on a level that is above countries and governments. Almost all countries in the world are now companies. Those that are not and are still refusing to create a Rothschild owned central bank, are getting attacked, like Syria. The Vatican has created the UCC (Uniform Commercial Code). Commercial law is above everything and that explains why the penalty for rape is much less than for tax fraud. If you are going public with this knowledge, then you are getting yourself into deep trouble. Knowing this explains all the major wars and conflicts we are seeing right now on the planet. It is all about cartel legislation and cartel areas. Ukraine was created as an artificial state in 1918 according to canonical law for 99 years. Now the area that we call Ukraine is being “renegotiated”. Take the end of the Congress of Vienna in 1815 and add 99 years then you are finding yourself in 1914!!! Then take 1918, end of WW2, and add 99 years and we are in 2017!!! (WW2 has officially never ended. Sounds crazy, but do your research. It’s true.) In the least, the government is spraying larvicides with great impunity in many neighborhoods throughout the U.S. in order to ‘combat Zika’ and other diseases said to be caused by mosquitoes. Little is known of the true ramifications for such hackneyed actions, but one study suggests that in places where mosquito pesticides are sprayed, a 25 percent increase in autism results.

Researchers used data from another study, called the CHARGE Study (Childhood Autism Risks From Genetics and the Environment), which found that if pregnant mothers in their third trimester were exposed to pyrethroids or a few other pesticides, their children were much more likely to be diagnosed with autism.
