Like a Pied Piper, the GOP front-runner’s pro-Israel magic tricks swept his Jewish audience from initial suspicion to outright enthusiasm.

On Monday night, Donald Trump showed how and why he might be elected president of the United States. Invited to participate in a candidate’s forum at AIPAC’s annual conference, he came, he spoke, he conquered. In future history, the 2016 AIPAC Policy Conference might yet be viewed as a watershed event on way to the Trump Era.

Trump entered the Verizon Center in Washington D.C. as a prime suspect but emerged clean as a whistle. In less than half an hour, he took a skeptical and apprehensive audience and turned them into gushing cheerleaders. He went into the arena as a racist demagogue but soon came out as an ostensibly serious contender. He faced a tough test of his mettle but passed it with flying colors and hardly any effort. He came away with a kosher “K” certificate, issued by one of the most powerful and influential organizations in America.

If Trump is ultimately elected president, AIPAC leaders will be able to proudly point to their prescience: They will have scored valuable points with a man who could soon decide Israel’s future. If Trump doesn’t make it, however, his appearance on Monday could live in AIPAC infamy as the day well-meaning Jews sold their consciences in exchange for banal pledges of support for Israel. This, in any case, is the way many liberal Jews will see it. They’ve been claiming for years that AIPAC has turned into a branch of both the Likud party and the GOP, though few of them knew it had gone this far.

Trump proved that he knows exactly how to press the right Jewish buttons, much as he has shown his expertise in manipulating the fears and resentments of middle class, white Americans. He told the AIPAC delegates exactly what they wanted and what they’re used to hearing — and they loved it. He mocked other candidates for pandering and proceeded to pander as if there’s no tomorrow.

Trump delivered a speech that could easily have been written in the Prime Minister’s Office in Jerusalem or AIPAC headquarters in Washington, and for all we know, possibly was. He vowed to “dismantle” the nuclear deal with Iran as well as Tehran’s terrorist infrastructure, condemned Palestinian incitement and praised Israeli moderation. He said that Obama was the worst-ever President for Israel and the crowd burst out in loud applause, as if the assertion was some kind of “open sesame” that removes any roadblocks standing in Trump’s way.

A German teacher who volunteered at his local migrant shelter and befriended the asylum seekers there was found dead after he was beaten to death by one of the men he met at the camps. A 58 year old Afghan was arrested and confessed to beating the educator and volunteer translator with an iron rod. The suspected killer arrived in Germany in December. Police are investigating the circumstances around the murder, reports Welt.

A shielded Nevada airbase used by government agencies to test unmanned aircraft has shown up on Google Earth.

Area 6, which was once used for underground nuclear testing, is located in Yucca Flat and is part of the Nevada National Security Site, where 1,000 nuclear tests were conducted between 1945 and 1992.

Four tests and six detonations happened in Area 6 according to a report by the US Department of Energy.

Now, the airbase, which has a 5,000-feet runway, houses aircraft tests for federal agencies such as the Department of Defense and that of Homeland Security, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported.

FINAL ANSWER: I watched the video of the Russian plane crash. It was nose dived into the runway in perfectly clear weather at 500 plus mph, PERIOD, END OF DISCUSSION.see for yourself here and the question is, why are they lying about this? The debris field has only a couple pieces bigger than a football and is spread out for over a mile. That does not happen at controlled landing speeds as Russia claimed, EVER.

UPDATE: I suspected it was on fire in the first video, and a new video from a different angle seems to confirm it. It was definitely at least in a free fall which could have been caused by a stall (if it was not in a full on dive,) and if it was in a free fall because of a stall, I do not think the stall was pilot error, I think the plane was disabled and on fire. Free fall speed would be less than 500 mph but a lot faster than landing speed. I think this plane was probably shot down or brought down by something else and the Russians do not want to admit it.

Energy utility Electrabel is evacuating Belgium’s two nuclear power plants in the wake of Tuesday’s terrorist attacks in Brussels.

Doel, made up of four reactors, and Tihange, with three are closed and all vehicles coming and going are subject to checks. “Employees who are not needed to run the two power plants are now leaving the sites,” Politico EU reports, adding that the “military arrived at the Tihange plant on Friday.”

“Surveillance is stepped up with added security measures at nuclear plants,” Belga says. “Vehicles are being checked with police and army on site.”

As AFP reminds us, “in February, investigators probing the Paris attacks found video footage of a senior Belgian nuclear official at the property of a key suspect.” That footage was discovered “as part of seizures made following the Paris attacks”, Belgian prosecutors said last month, while declining to divulge the individual’s identity “for obvious security reasons”.

The plant is around 50 miles from Brussels Airport.

Obviously, officials believe there could be a connection to networks cultivated by Paris suspect Salah Abdeslam who was captured in a Molenbeek anti-terror raid last week. On theory says that cells connected to Abdeslam might have pulled forward plans to bomb soft targets fearing more raids were imminent.
