(REUTERS) – British and French interior ministers agreed on Tuesday to develop cooperation “now and when the United Kingdom leaves the EU” to address challenges posed by flows of migrants to the European Union.
Britain’s new interior minister, Amber Rudd, came to Paris to meet her French counterpart, seeking assurances on a deal which allows Britain to make border checks in Calais and keep thousands of would-be migrants and asylum seekers in France.

“New levels of incompetence.
Firstly, for the last fifty years, in the absence of real combat, new aircraft were always tested annually against simulated enemies in ‘combat’ competitions in Nevada, with many foreign ally “enemies” playing the role creditably. The same being reciprocated in Oz & Europe.
Secondly, if this very expensive aircraft is lost in combat in enemy territory, with irretrievable black boxes etc, how the hell will they learn anything to actually see what needs fixing?
Only an idiot sends an untested and glitch ridden weapon to war, unless….they have no option…..Doh!”

More automation will enable them to optimize use of cargo vessels, cut fuel consumption and labor costs
“All hands on deck” may become a thing of the past.
Ship designers, their operators and regulators are gearing up for a future in which cargo vessels sail the oceans with minimal or even no crew. Advances in automation and ample bandwidth even far offshore could herald the biggest change in shipping since diesel engines replaced steam.
The drumbeats of war are growing louder. Fighting in eastern Ukraine between separatists and pro-government forces has risen to an intensity not seen in well over a year, and the Russians claim that they recently foiled a “Ukrainian plot” to conduct terror attacks in Crimea. As tensions in the region have increased, the Russians have used the cover of “military drills” to move massive amounts of troops and military equipment up to the border with Ukraine. This is something that I wrote about a couple of weeks ago, but things have intensified since then, and a huge military exercise is planned for September. Needless to say, the Ukrainians are quite alarmed by this, and Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko is warning that a full scale mobilization of the Ukrainian military may be needed. If something is going to happen, it is likely to happen soon. As you will see below, once we get into October it will become much less likely that we would see a Russian invasion of Ukraine.
We aren’t hearing much about this conflict in the U.S. media, but over in Europe this is a very big deal. Just consider the following excerpt from an article in the Independent entitled “Russia is teetering on the brink of ‘all out war’ with Ukraine“…
If you’re curious what real intellectual bigotry looks like, look no further than this story from The College Fix which details the anti-science absurdities of today’s bigoted college professors.
According to the report, “Three professors co-teaching an online course called ‘Medical Humanities in the Digital Age’ at the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs recently told their students via email that man-made climate change is not open for debate.”
In invoking their intellectual bigotry and anti-science stance, these three female professors cite the widely debunked false claim that “97% of climate scientists agree on climate change.” That statistic was fraudulently derived by a biased researcher hand-picking a few dozen email responses from an informal email survey that carries no scientific weight whatsoever (see below).
(REUTERS) – Some 3000 migrants were saved in the Strait of Sicily in 30 separate rescue missions on Tuesday, the Italian coastguard said, bringing the total to almost 10,000 in two days and marking a sharp acceleration in refugee arrivals in Italy.
The migrants were packed on board dozens of boats, many of them rubber dinghies that become dangerously unstable in high seas. No details were immediately available on their nationalities.
Data from the International Organization for Migration released on Friday said around 105,000 migrants had reached Italy by boat in 2016, many of them setting sail from Libya. An estimated 2,726 men, women and children have died over the same period trying to make the journey.
Anthony Guglielmi, a spokesman for the Chicago Police Department, confirmed on Sunday morning that the Sorrells brothers were charged in Aldridge’s murder overnight. It was not immediately known what led investigators to the men.
“Derren Sorells, a 22-year-old male who is a documented member of the Gangster Disciples. Mr. Sorells is on parole,” Guglielmi said. “His brother, 26-year-old Darwin Sorells is co-conspirator and also on parole for a gun charge.”
Close to 9,000 migrant children are missing in Germany, and police fear that many of them will be exploited by organised criminal gangs.
The number of migrant children who have gone missing in Germany has doubled since the start of the year according to a new report from the German federal police (BKA), reports Spiegel Online.
A total of 8,991 underage migrants have disappeared from asylum homes or residences where they were being looked after by social workers. Police also say that a number of the cases of missing children can be tied to organised criminal gangs, some of which may force the children into prostitution or drug running.

“Logic tells us that if we have to pay someone to hold/use our assets, somewhere it must have a market value exceeding its costs of holding/use.
If that is NOT the case then the asset must be converted into something more marketable.
The Germans are daft if they are just holding paper money in the safe because the banksters can “irrelevent” it by changing its worth overnight with new notes. And I’m absolutely sure the Germans are NOT daft.
Items of potential actual worth are needed. Convertible goods. Fuel, salt, food, warm/waterproof clothing, because as I see it increasing unemployment leads to a need for shelter, warmth & food. These are the next growth market, unless the world demand indices are lying through their teeth.
Ruthless banksters will foreclose on ordinary citizens, and their only hope is simplicity in the short term.”
There is perhaps no greater sign of the coming financial Apocalypse and economic Armageddon than the continuation of NIRP (Negative Interest Rate Policy) within certain nations in the European Union.
While much has been written about this utterly foolish and purposely destructive monetary policy, not nearly enough commentary has been presented which explains its extraordinary consequences.

What would happen if some sort of major national emergency caused a massive transportation disruption that stopped trucks from running? The next time you talk to a trucker, please thank them for their service, because without their hard work none of our lives would be possible. In America today, very few of us live a truly independent lifestyle, and that means that we rely on the system to provide what we need. Most of us take for granted that there will always be plenty of goods at Wal-Mart and at the grocery store whenever we need more “stuff”, and most of us never give a second thought to how all of that “stuff” gets there. Well, the truth is that most of it is brought in by trucks, and if the trucks stopped running for some reason the entire country would devolve into chaos very rapidly.
Earlier today, I came across a quote from Alice Friedemann that detailed what we would be facing during a major national transportation disruption very nicely…
If you really wanted to live like a millionaire, you could start doing it right now. All you have to do is to apply for as many credit cards as possible and then begin running up credit card balances like there is no tomorrow. At this point, I know what most of you are probably thinking. You are probably thinking that such a lifestyle would not last for long and that a day of reckoning would eventually come, and you would be exactly right. In fact, anyone that has ever had a tremendous amount of credit card debt knows how painful that day of reckoning can be. To mindlessly run up credit card debt is exceedingly reckless, but unfortunately that is precisely what we have been doing as a nation as a whole. We are a “buy now, pay later” society, and our national day of reckoning is approaching very, very quickly.
Often we like to focus on our exploding national debt, but household debt is out of control too. In fact, the total amount of household debt in the United States is now up to a whopping 12.3 trillion dolllars…
The US is in the throes of a heroin and opioid epidemic – drug overdose has become the leading cause of accidental death, overtaking traffic accidents.
It is a health crisis with tentacles reaching across the social spectrum. Lorain County, in the state of Ohio, is mostly suburban and middle-class, with a large rural hinterland.
Its population is only 305,000 but for the last three years, the number of fatal opiate overdoses has hovered at around 65. This year it only took six months to reach that figure.
Avon Lake is the county’s wealthiest community – an upmarket suburb of the city of Cleveland. Here, on the shores of Lake Erie, the scourge of opiates – prescription pills and street heroin – is tearing at the fabric of a tightly-knit neighbourhood.

In a revealing statement that flew largely under the radar earlier this month, the mainstream media admitted it would never recover from its irresponsible and negligent coverage of the 2016 presidential election. A recent column published in the New York Post referred to the media’s reporting as “the complete collapse of American journalism as we know it.”
In his article for the Post, Fox News contributor Michael Goodwin discussed the media’s pro-Clinton bias – one recognized by supporters of virtually every other presidential candidate, from Bernie Sanders to Jill Stein to Gary Johnson and, of course, Donald Trump. Even Americans who don’t necessarily have a horse in the 2016 race notice the slant.

“Again, after studying the comparisons between the ‘golden goose, corrupt military industrial complex’ of the USA and the Russian Federation budgetary controlled Ministry of Defence, and the efficiency within the required parameters with which new equipment is produced from conception to field trials, it is obvious the Russian principle is indeed defence and based on National pride, in contrast to the offense based warmongering, neocon bankster led USA.
Shame the mainstream media will twist Putin’s defensive directive into an offensive one, but they will.”
I found that “Superstation95” is making up some of its news.
The Russian Ministry of Defense has declared a mobilization of reservists!
The Russian government, including all its Ministries, even Russia’s National bank, are now also taking part in sudden “wartime test.”
Reservists in the Southern, Central and Western Military Districts are being called up, and trucks from the civilian sector are being transferred into military service as per the mobilization plans. In addition, workers in militarily vital industries in southern Russia are being conscripted into the Ministry of Defense – they can no longer quit or transfer without military approval for the duration of the alert.

BERLIN (Reuters) – Polish Foreign Minister Witold Waszczykowski on Monday criticised the European Commission’s handling of last year’s migrant crisis, saying that Brussels had exacerbated the problems rather than offering real solutions.
The EU took “hasty, irresponsible and not-fully thought through steps” in response to a massive influx of refugees from Iraq, Syria and other war-torn regions, Waszczykowski said at a news conference with his German and French counterparts.
A leading pollster in Austria is predicting a win for anti-mass migration candidate Norbert Hofer, as Hofer praises government ministers who have taken a harder line on mass migration.
The momentum for the anti-mass migration Freedom Party (FPÖ) candidate for the presidency of Austria, Norbert Hofer, is gaining even more steam. A new poll shows that 38 per cent of Austrians, including a leading pollster, believe he will win the re-run of the election on October 2nd compared to rival Alexander Van der Bellen who managed 34 per cent support.
The poll conducted by OGM on behalf of Austria’s Kurier newspaper, shows that many Austrians are undecided, but OGM boss Wolfgang Bachmayer believes the numbers will favour Mr. Hofer.

Judicial Watch announced on its website today that it has submitted a list of 25 questions to Hillary Clinton regarding her email practices while serving as Secretary of State. Pursuant to a decision by U.S. District Court Judge Emmet G. Sullivan, Hillary has 30 days to respond, under oath, to the questions. Per federal law, Judicial Watch was limited to a total of 25 questions.
All 25 questions are included in their entirety below (we’ve highlighted some of the particularly amusing ones):
With Hillary Clinton continuing her run of days without a press conference, the nation is growing increasingly concerned as day after day more headlines – from even the mainstream media – cast shadows over her actions as Secretary of State. With more records reported to be released tomorrow, AP reports another nail in the coffin of Clinton honesty today as The State Department is forced to admit that The FBI has discovered dozens of emails related to Benghazi that Clinton failed to hand over.
As AP reports,The State Department says about 30 emails involving the 2012 attack on U.S. compounds in Benghazi, Libya, are among the thousands of Hillary Clinton emails recovered during the FBI’s recently closed investigation into her use of a private server.
Over the weekend we posted about how the media’s coverage of Trump and Clinton’s health had become “outright bizarre” (see “American Electorate Loses As Partisan Media Coverage Of Candidate Health Turns Outright Bizarre“). We also asked whether Google had taken measures to censor searches related to Hillary’s health condition (see “Is Google Censoring Search Results To Protect Hillary?“). Turns out that the Huffington Post may have just joined in on the bizarre behavior by censoring a journalist with the audacity to question Hillary’s health.
On Sunday night, an obviously shaken Huffington Post contributor, David Seaman, posted a video to YouTube after the HuffPo had taken measures to revoke his publishing access and delete two articles he had previously published on Hillary’s health…a move that left him “a little scared” and “spooked out”.
- The Minister for Immigration Affairs himself, repeatedly stated that 50% to 70% of migratory flows to Greece were illegal migrants and the rest were refugees. The illegal migrants come from 77 different countries.
- If it is a “racist crime” for a citizen to express accurately the percentages of refugees and illegal migrants entering the country, what will come next, the Thought Police?
- The real reason for prosecuting Bishop Markos, it seems, is that the government expects that Turkey’s migration deal with the EU will collapse, and that if it does, the migrant flows in the coming months will increase dramatically. The government, according to some members in the opposition, has no friendly way to manage illegal migration and therefore prefers to impose restrictions on freedom of speech and prosecute anyone who objects.
- The government might scare the Bishop of Chios Island by pressing charges against him and trying to stigmatize him as a racist. But the government will still not scare the angry majority of Greeks.
In coalmines, from 1911 to 1986, canaries operated as an early warning system for the leakage of hazardous gases. Whenever the birds showed signs of distress, the miners knew trouble was coming.
Greece has deep problems. Greece is presently in the “coalmine” of an endless economic and immigration crisis.

“HaHaHa. there is an app for that!”
Staffers from Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton‘s campaign were reportedly advised to use a special app when communicating about Republican nominee Donald Trump to hide information from hackers, Vanity Fair reported.
The app, called Signal, is “Snowden-approved,” according to Vanity Fair.Snowden has praised Signal in the past. He said on Twitter that he uses the app “every single day.”
The app uses end-to-end encryption. The point of it is to make sure only the people sending and receiving a message are able to see it.
