– Criminalizing Bitcoin Users? US Congress Holds Hearing to ‘Modernize’ AML Laws Today:

The U.S. Senate Judiciary is to hold a full panel hearing today on modernising anti-money laundering (AML) laws with the inclusive of digital currencies.

Scheduled to take place at 10 a.m. at the Dirksen Senate Office Building 226, in Washington D.C., Bill S1241: Modernizing AML Laws to Combat Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing will be up for discussion. It will be chaired by Chuck Grassley, a senior U.S. Senator from Iowa, and the current chairman of the Judiciary Committee of the 115th Congress.

The section that is of concern relates to Section 13, focusing on the use of digital currencies. Interestingly, while the meeting was listed on the Senate Judiciary webpage, keen-eyed bitcoiners discovered the event was only added to the U.S. Senate Hearing page at 6 p.m. yesterday.

I know some people don’t like charts, but I think they tell stories. The two charts below tell a story the mainstream media, Trump, Wall Street, and the Deep State don’t want revealed.

The first chart shows the year over year percentage change in personal income taxes collected by the Federal government and the second chart shows the year over year percentage change in corporate income taxes collected by the Federal government.

The government drones can’t seasonally adjust, massage, or fake these numbers like they can inflation and unemployment.

A critical thinking person might ask, how can the unemployment rate have fallen to levels last seen in 2007 if personal income taxes collected has been essentially flat for the last two years?

The last time unemployment was supposedly this low, the Feds were collecting taxes at a 12% to 18% annual rate over the prior year. Either the BLS is lying about the unemployment rate or the jobs being added are nothing but low paying shit jobs.

A critical thinking person might ask, if the stock market is at record highs because the economy is doing so well and corporations are rolling in dough, why have corporate taxes collected by the Federal government declined for the last three years?

Britain is facing a three-week long arctic chill that will see temperatures plummet and significant snowfall, according to health officials, who are warning that residents should be prepared for the imminent threat to human health. 40,000 could die from the cold.

Temperatures in Britain are expected to go as low degrees Celcius or 10 degrees Fahrenheit over the next three weeks and extremely heavy snowfall is expected in Essex and London. Health chiefs have now issued a warning ahead of the prolonged cold spell, calling on the public to check on those who may be at risk.

Britain risks a re-run of some of December’s 2010’s mayhem. This cold spell also forecasts snow and ice, meaning some roads will be impassable, trains will be halted, planes will be risking cancellations, and football matches could be called off because of frozen fields. December shivers nudging -12 Celsius (even in the South) were forecast by The Weather Company and The Weather Outlook.

Since the October 1 Las Vegas shooting, which claimed 58 innocent lives and injured over 500 music lovers, five witnesses to and survivors of the gruesome attack have been killed — three in car ‘accidents’, one was fatally shot, and one died suddenly after giving statement exposing multiple shooters.

The most recent Las Vegas shooting survivor to die mysteriously is 52-year-old Roy McClellan: he was killed in a hit and run on November 17 while hitchhiking on State Route 160 in Pahrump, about 50 miles west of Las Vegas. Eyewitnesses say a speeding Chevrolet Camaro hit Roy down before speeding off the scene. The driver of the car is still on the loose.

The Apple Valley resident made a public statement describing the Las Vegas attack and how they were carried out by multiple shooters firing weapons into the crowd. Her statement confirmed what many had already suspected: the “official” narrative that Stephen Paddock was a “lone wolf” shooter was false.

She died a “natural death” five days after her Facebook posts giving a detailed account of her horrific experience quickly went viral. One of her posts reads:

Did you know that the number of retail store closings in 2017 has already tripled the number from all of 2016?  Last year, a total of 2,056 store locations were closed down, but this year more than 6,700 stores have been shut down so far.  That absolutely shatters the all-time record for store closings in a single year, and yet nobody seems that concerned about it.  In 2008, an all-time record 6,163 retail stores were shuttered, and we have already surpassed that mark by a very wide margin.  We are facing an unprecedented retail apocalypse, and as you will see below, the number of retail store closings is actually supposed to be much higher next year.

Whenever the mainstream media reports on the retail apocalypse, they always try to put a positive spin on the story by blaming the growth of Amazon and other online retailers.  And without a doubt that has had an impact, but at this point online shopping still accounts for less than 10 percent of total U.S. retail sales.

(MEMO) — A new report released yesterday by an Israeli intelligence bureau has suggested that in confronting Iran, the interests of Daesh and Israel could converge, making them temporary allies, according to the Jerusalem Post.

The Meir Amit Intelligence and Terrorism Information Centre emphasized that there was no formal alliance between Israel and the so-called Islamic State, but said that after Daesh has fallen as a state, both would target Iran and Hezbollah militants in Syria.

According to the report, Daesh “will likely change its combat patterns and revert to guerrilla tactics and terrorism following the end of the campaign against it in Iraq, and may carry out hit-and-run attacks against Iranian vehicles moving along the land.”

Swedish and international research indicates that young boys are overrepresented in the sale of sexual services in Scandinavia’s most populous country, Suzann Larsdotter, sexologist at the Swedish Federation of Sexual Enlightenment (RFSU) told Swedish national broadcaster SVT.

“Prostitution is an important symbolic issue for gender equality, as it is often assumed that men are perpetrators and women are victims. Men and boys selling sex are interpreted in relation to their sexuality, while girls and women are always seen as victims,” Larsdotter said.

Twenty-five to 30 attackers arrived in five SUVs at the al Rawdah Sufi mosque in Bir al-Abed on Friday. Some wore masks and at least one was carrying an ISIS flag, the state prosecutor told state-run Nile TV in a statement.

As controversial as vaccinations are, at least there are protocols in place to limit the damage to human patients during their development.
