Das bestehende Feuerwehrhaus der Stadt Zwiesel in der Jahnstrasse genügt nicht mehr den erforderlichen Sicherheitsstandards. Die Bausubstanz ist ebenfalls in schlechtem Zustand. Es soll ein neues Gebäude im Gewerbegebiet Fürhaupten errichtet werden. Die Gesamtkosten für das Objekt mit einer Nutzfläche von 2000 Quadratmeter liegt bei zirka 3,8 Millionen Euro. Durch die Geländeverhältnisse werden umfangreiche Erdarbeiten notwendig. Die Kosten für Erdabtrag werden geschätzt ja nach Variante zwischen 270.000 Euro und maximal 415.000 Euro dargestellt. Baubeginn: Juli 2016; Übergabe an den Bauherrn: September 2017;

WW3 in 2018 is highly unlikely, but 2019 is a perfect candidate for WW3 (for many reasons).
