“More on the ELEPHANT.
For the past few years the Alaskan Salmon returns have been slowly diminishing to the extent that even a moderate catch is viewed as monumentally encouraging, despite the reality they are still declining, and lame excuses abound as to why with nobody addressing the elephant.
Another issue is that all these Government Department Statements showing optimism, are ALL mere Hopium, forecasts, dreams, with no factual basis!!!
At the end of the season, there is a deathly silence so as not to expose the reality that shrimp are the main food for salmon, shrimp are bottom feeders and radioactive waste water sinks to the bottom…..no dot joining at all. If this quite obvious summary is incorrect, one would have thought it would have been openly corrected, but no, just silence.”
