“I want to tell you something very clear: Don’t worry about American pressure on Israel. We, the Jewish people, control America, and the Americans know it.”
– Ariel Sharon

Amy Goodman interviews a former Israeli minister and she helps expose this trick used against dissidents, the defamation tactic of calling people “anti-Semitic.”

  1. @Disappointed: Prove it.

A Hebrew Israeli radio station, Kol Yisrael, on October 3rd 2001 reported that during an argument in an Israeli cabinet meeting, Shimon Peres warned Prime Minister Ariel Sharon that unless he would heed American requests for a cease fire with the Palestinians, he could cause America to turn against Israel. In a fit of anger, Sharon responded to Peres:

“Every time we do something you tell me America will do this and will do that . . . I want to tell you something very clear: Don’t worry about American pressure on Israel. We, the Jewish people, control America, and the Americans know it.”

U.S. Senator William Fulbright said on CBS’s Face the Nation, that, “Israel controls the U.S. Senate.”

    If Americans knew …

  2. Di(Z)appointed does the typical ‘hit(z) and run(z)’.

While exerting the time and effort to emphatically state that Sharon’s quote has “been proven time and time again to be fraudulent”, Di(z)(z)y just can not seem to make the equivalent effort, nor find the time, to support any of these ‘numerous’ proofs with a single reference. Amazing, itz!

The fact of the matter is, in the universe of the jewish self-interest agenda, there never has been, nor ever will be, a factual statement or document of detriment to Zionism that has not been disproved to the end of time — qualification, of course, being completely and absolutely unnecessary. OY!
