Spain: Thousands of pensioners protest in Madrid

Thousands of pensioners have taken to the streets of Madrid, calling for higher state pensions.

Heavy rain didn’t discourage the protest that began in front of Spain’s Budget Ministry and then moved to the national parliament a couple of blocks away.
