So much for the Democrats trying to unburn bridges with the republicans, and to reach across the aisle to president-elect Donald Trump.
If the just released letter from senator Harry Reid is any indication, the Democrat attempts to stonewall every action by the new administration – not to mention the polarization in Congress – are about to hit previously never before seen levels.

– Harry Reid Issues Statement On “Hateful Racist” Cliven Bundy (ZeroHedge, April 24, 2014):
Presented with no comment…
April 24, 2014 | Press Releases
“This is not a game.”
Las Vegas, NV – Nevada Senator Harry Reid released the following statement today on racist comments by Cliven Bundy reported by the New York Times.
“I used to live in North Las Vegas and it is home to some of the hardest-working people I have ever met – men and women who embody the American dream by working hard every day to build a better life for themselves and their families. By contrast, Cliven Bundy has spent decades profiting off government land while refusing to pay the same fair use fees as his fellow ranchers. Today, Bundy revealed himself to be a hateful racist. But by denigrating people who work hard and play by the rules while he mooches off public land he also revealed himself to be a hypocrite.
“To advance his extreme, hateful views, Bundy has endangered the lives of innocent women and children. This is not a game. It is the height of irresponsibility for any individual or entity in a position of power or influence to glorify or romanticize such a dangerous individual, and anyone who has done so should come to their senses and immediately condemn Bundy. For their part, national Republican leaders could help show a united front against this kind of hateful, dangerous extremism by publicly condemning Bundy.
“The bottom line is that elected officials and those in positions of power or influence have a responsibility to unite behind the basic principle that we are a country of laws, and that whatever our differences, it is unacceptable for individuals to use violence or the threat of violence to advance their radical views.”
War is peace.
Freedom is slavery.
Ignorance is strength.
– Reid: Bundy Supporters Are “Domestic Terrorists” (CBS News, April 17, 2014):
(LAS VEGAS, KXNT)–Supporters of Bunkerville rancher Cliven Bundy have been called domestic terrorists by Senator Harry Reid.
He made the comments during an appearance at a Review-Journal event, and repeated them, saying “what happened there was domestic terrorism’
The government says Bundy owes more than a million dollars in grazing fees and fines stemming from a 20-year dispute over trespass cattle. After obtaining court orders and beginning a roundup of cattle more than a week ago, BLM backed down, called off the roundup, and returned the cattle, after armed supporters of Bundy converged on the area.
– Reid smelling anything but rosy in ranch fight (WND, April 12, 2014):
Desert showdown blows lid off long-standing plans with the Chinese
NEW YORK – When Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy refused to take his cattle off land the federal government demanded for the habitat of an endangered desert tortoise, it focused the nation’s attention on an arena Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev., may have preferred to be kept quiet.
An investigative report published last week by Infowars.com drew a connection between Senate Majority Leader Reid’s involvement with Chinese energy giant ENN, Chinese efforts to build massive solar facilities in the Nevada desert and the showdown between Bundy and the U.S. Bureau of Land Management, or BLM.
It wasn’t the first report to notice curious dealings involving the Chinese and America’s top Democrats.

On March 26, 2014, Harry Reid said he never said ObamaCare stories – to his recollection – were lies.
One month earlier on Februry 26, 2014, Harry Reid said the “tales” were “made up from whole cloth, lies distorted by the Republicans…”
– FBI Blocked In Harry Reid Corruption Probe (ZeroHedge, March 14, 2014):
Utah state prosecutors have received accusations of wrongdoing and gathered evidence in a wide-ranging corruption scandal involving Majority Leader Harry Reid and rising Republican Senator Mike Lee. However, as The Washinton Times reports, FBI agents have been thwarted in their efforts to launch a full federal investigation by the Justic Department. “DOJ risks creating the perception of a cover-up,” warned one senior FBI official.
FBI agents working alongside Utah state prosecutors in a wide-ranging corruption investigation have uncovered accusations of wrongdoing by two of the U.S. Senate’s most prominent figures — Majority Leader Harry Reid and rising Republican Sen. Mike Lee — but the Justice Department has thwarted their bid to launch a full federal investigation.
– Blast from the Past: Harry Reid Claimed Income Taxes are “Voluntary” (Liberty Blitzkrieg, Oct 14, 2013):
With Harry Reid in deep negotiations with crony Republican fraud Mitch McConnell, the American public is surely in the process of getting royally screwed once again. Thus, it seems like an appropriate time to revisit an interview in which Mr. Reid claimed on camera that income taxes are “voluntary.” He must have accidentally described the way members of Congress view taxes, you know kind of like how they view insider trading.
As you watch, try not to get too distracted by Jan Helfeld’s tie. Where can you even buy something like that?!

– Harry Reid on the Senate Floor Proclaims: “The Anarchists Have Taken Over” (Liberty Blitzkrieg, Sep 13, 2013):
“We’re diverted totally from what this bill is about. Why? Because the anarchists have taken over. They’ve taken over the House and now they’ve taken over the Senate. People who don’t believe in government — and that’s what the Tea Party is all about — are winning, and that’s a shame.”
– Harry Reid on the Senate Floor earlier today
The best thing about inept, crony, powerful politicians is that when they realize they are losing the battle for the hearts and minds of the public they simply don’t know what to do. Ultimately, this leads to moments of public displays of dementia, such as the one exhibited by Harry Reid on the Senate Floor earlier today. I find it quite interesting that he refers to Congressional Representatives elected by the public as “anarchists” in such a demeaning manner. I suppose it’s only when things go his way that he believes in democracy.
In any event, his display is a total embarrassment and his pathetic ramblings are merely more evidence of “the people’s” recent grassroots political victories.
I suppose it’s also anarchic to want to not start World War III, right Harry? Enjoy!

– Harry Reid on Hiking Debt Limit to $18.794T: ‘We’ll Raise It’ (CNSNews, Nov 7, 2012):
(CNSNews.com) – Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) said on Wednesday that if the $16.394 trillion current legal limit on the federal government’s debt must be raised in the next few months by another $2.4 trillion, “We’ll raise it.”
That would set the debt limit at $18.794 trillion.
During a Capitol Hill press conference on Wednesday, CNSNews.com asked: “Senator Reid, the Treasury Department said last week that we will hit the debt ceiling again near the end of the year. Are you prepared—will you support—”
“I think the debt ceiling will come after the first of the year,” Reid said. “But please everyone accept this: They tried it before—they, the Republicans.”
“They tried it before – ‘We’re going to shut down the government, and we’re not going to raise the debt ceiling,’” he said. “If they want to go through that again, fine.”
“But we’re not going to be held subject to something that was done as a matter of fact in all previous administrations,” Reid said.
CNSNews.com then asked, “But will you support raising it by another $2.4 trillion?”
“If it has to be raised, we’ll raise it,” he said.
– Harry Reid not releasing his own tax returns (Politico, Aug 6, 2012):
LAS VEGAS — Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid again deflected questions Monday about releasing his tax returns, even as he continued to pound the demand for Mitt Romney to make more of his own public.
Instead, Reid pointed to the financial disclosure forms he files as a member of Congress, which provide different information.
“I’m a member of Congress now, I don’t make too much money,” said Reid, whose net worth was estimated at $10 million in 2010. “But it’s all listed every year.”Reid spokesman Adam Jentleson told POLITICO last week that the majority leader will not release his tax returns, writing: “He’s not running for president. … He has of course released more than 30 years of detailed [personal finance disclosures]. There is exponentially more information available to the public about Sen. Reid’s financial life than there is about Mitt Romney’s.”
