WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING TO NOON SUNDAY…

* TIMING…SNOW LEVELS LOWER THIS EVENING WITH ACCUMULATIONS POSSIBLE THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING.

* SNOW ACCUMULATION…2 TO 4 INCHES.

* SNOW LEVEL…AT AND ABOVE 10000 FEET MSL.

* WINDS…SOUTH 5 TO 15 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 25 MPH.

* VISIBILITY…DOWN TO 1 MILE AT TIMES.

* IMPACTS…HIGHWAY PASSES THAT MAY RECEIVE SOME SNOW ACCUMULATIONS INCLUDE INDEPENDENCE… MONARCH… REDMOUNTAIN… LIZARD HEAD… SLUMGULLION… COAL BANK… MOLAS AND VAIL.

  1. I remember when our salesman went up to make calls in Aberdeen, Scotland.

    He got snowed in for a week.

    The old man admonished him with…..

    “You should know NEVER GO TO SCOTLAND IN MAY”
