“Participants of the meeting have unanimously adopted the decision on creating the all-Ukrainian public organization Maidan self-defense,” a report on the page of the Maidan self-defense in Facebook reads.
According to the information, the meeting was held by head of the Maidan self-defense, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Andriy Parubiy.
The same day, the Second Battalion of the National Guard, consisting of soldiers of the Maidan self-defense, swore an oath of loyalty. In the coming days, it “will go to the front to fight for Ukraine,” the report says, Interfax reports.
