Radio Free Europe, Nov. 18, 2013: [Mycle Schneider, an independent nuclear consultant said,] “The big danger is that through a further earthquake or any kind of impact, the water in the pool gets drained beyond a level that can’t be topped up. That would lead to the spent fuel overheating and potentially burning.” […] [Professor Komei Hosokawa, of Kyoto Seika University] and Schneider said the worst thing that could happen during the operation would be a cask being dropped onto the wall of the pool, which would result in a loss of water.

Japan is part of the world still developing land…..much like Kona. Putting a nuclear plant in such an environment shows foolish greed and total disregard for the lives of the people.
Nuclear power plants need to be shut down. Especially in quake prone areas, like Japan.
Nobody wins if everyone dies.
