Indigenous Leaders: Fukushima Nuclear Crisis ‘A Threat To The Future Of Humanity’ – ‘We Have Reached The Crossroads Of Life And The End Of Our Existence’

Statement from Indigenous Leaders: Fukushima nuclear crisis “a threat to the future of humanity” — “We have reached the crossroads of life and the end of our existence” (ENENews, Nov 7, 2013):

Excerpts from the Indigenous Elders and Medicine Peoples Council Statement on Fukushima, October 31, 2013:

[…] Not heeding warnings from both Nature and the People of the Earth keeps us on the path of self destruction. This self destructive path has led to the Fukushima nuclear crisis, Gulf oil spill, tar sands devastation, pipeline failures, impacts of carbon dioxide emissions and the destruction of ground water through hydraulic fracking, just to name a few. […]

The Fukushima nuclear crisis alone is a threat to the future of humanity. Yet, our concern goes far beyond this single threat. Our concern is with the cumulative and compounding devastation that is being wrought by the actions of human beings around the world. […]

[…] Spiritual Leaders and those that carry great responsibility for their people from both North and South America came together with the sacred fire for four days at the end of September 2013 to fulfill their sacred responsibilities. During this time it was revealed that the spirit of destruction gained its’ strength by our spiritually disconnected actions. […]

The People of the Earth understand that the Fukushima nuclear crisis continues to threaten the future of all life. We understand the full implications of this crisis even with the suppression of information and the filtering of truth by the corporate owned media and Nation States. We strongly urge the media, corporations and Nation States to acknowledge and convey the true facts that threaten us, so that the international community may work together to resolve this crisis, based on the foundation of Truth. We urge the international community, government of Japan and TEPCO to unify efforts to stabilize and re-mediate the nuclear threat posed at the Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear power plant. To ensure that the Japanese government and TEPCO are supported with qualified personnel and information, we urge the inclusion of today’s nuclear experts from around the world to collaborate, advise and provide technical assistance […]

We urge all Nations and human beings around the world to work with us, the Original Caretakers of Mother Earth, to restore the Original Instructions and uphold the Creator’s Natural Law as a foundation for all decision making, from this point forward. Our collective future as human beings is in our hands, we must address the Fukushima nuclear crisis and all actions that may violate the Creator’s Natural Law. We have reached the crossroads of life and the end of our existence. We will avert this potentially catastrophic nuclear disaster by coming together with good minds and prayer as a global community of all faiths. […]

  1. I want to take the time to thank you for your tireless coverage of the most important story of this time. I have been reading about the mess in Fukushima that has been going on nonstop since March 11, 2011. Now, 32 months later, they are “preparing” to stop some of it…….except that they can’t.
I have been reading about the people they are bringing in to work. Scientists? Engineers? People with knowledge of nuclear fusion? No.
Desperate gamblers who cannot pay their loan sharks are being sent in to work off their debt. Low wage workers with no education and no training are supposedly going to dismantle a nuclear meltdown. They are talking about conscription, nobody with an ounce of sense will go there.

They will all die. Some of us know we face our extinction, and that time is neigh, but many do not yet realize the portend of what has happened. I read they are talking of evacuating the west coast of the US….that is where I live……and where I will die. Those of us who understand will not wait to die of nuclear poison…….others will run and become nuclear 21st century wandering vagrants, like the “Grapes of Wrath” of the Great Depression. That is no life for me, I have an illness that will soon take my life regardless…..and I have no intention of joining the millions of wandering homeless vagrant nuclear refugees. There are many tonight who think their homes and lives secure that will find all is gone overnight.
Millions of our ancestors have faced similar trials from wars and droughts and acts of nature. This one, a nuclear meltdown, is far worse, and something we have never faced before. It will kill our planet, and millions will die. All that we have built will vanish.
Few of us know what it is like to be a refugee. The last ones were from WW2, most of them are gone now. We had many from Vietnam in the 1970s, perhaps they will have some ideas for the millions who will be clueless. It will include hardship, depravation and misery beyond the experience of most Americans. Things like safe drinking water will be scarce. Not a world I am interested in living, and I thank God for my illness that will spare me the horrors I see coming.
It is November. Here in Northern CA, it is still dry and miserable….no rain in sight. Between this disaster, and climate change, the world is going to change radically over the next few years. We used to have four seasons, and abundant rains…..no longer.
Thank you so much for staying on this story. It is finally catching the attention of many……..better late than never, I guess.
I hope you are not on the west coast, the world needs you.
