I also looked at this story on rt.com, but was unable to find out if this is an unusual event, part of rising waters, or what. So, if you find anything, please post it. I have found nothing but the video, either.
This amount of flooding has not happened in this town for over 500 years according to Huffington Post. It sits by 3 rivers. 1954 was the last flood, but the markers from that one have been buried in the rising waters. Nobody has said why this has happened.
