FDA Tests Adya Clarity, Confirms High Level Of Aluminum, Multiple Label Violations

FDA tests Adya Clarity, confirms high level of aluminum, multiple label violations (Natural  News, June 1, 2012):

Late last year, NaturalNews went public with an explosive story about a fraudulently marketed dietary supplement product called “Adya Clarity.” Made from a combination of sulfuric acid and a mineral / metallic ore mined out of the ground near Fukushima, Japan, the substance was marketed online with a bewildering array of absurd health claims. Furthermore, its label was intentionally altered to deceive consumers about its aluminum content, which happens to be the second most common element in the product.

Congress Votes Down Sen. Durbin’s Anti-Supplement Amendment, As Well As Sen. Paul’s Freedom Of Health Speech Amendment

Congress votes down Sen. Durbin’s anti-supplement amendment, as well as Sen. Paul’s freedom of health speech amendment (Natural News, May 25, 2012):

A sneaky, eleventh-hour attempt by Senator Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) to essentially shut down the supplement industry alongside an amendment pertaining to prescription drug user fees has failed. In a vote of 77-20, the U.S. Senate voted to table Amendment No. 2127, which would have created “duplicative, unnecessary, and unexpected new regulations” for the supplement industry that could have resulted in many common supplements being pulled from store shelves.

To the surprise of the entire natural health community, the unveiling of Amdt. No 2127 came late Tuesday afternoon, according to the Natural Products Insider (NPI), just one day before the bill to which it was attached, S. 3187, the Food and Drug Administration Safety and Innovation Act, was set for a vote. But because the natural health community immediately sprung into action to oppose Amdt. No 2127, it was successfully defeated.

Adya Clarity Scam Exposed

Adya Clarity caught deceiving Health Canada in licensing scam that hid aluminum content (Natural News, Oct. 31, 2011):

NaturalNews can now report that Adya, Inc. has been caught not only misrepresenting the composition of its product on its own label, but has now been caught committing marketing fraud that violates its terms of licensing with Health Canada. Health Canada is already investigating the issue.

In response to NaturalNews articles questioning the safety of Adya Clarity, the president of Adya, Inc., Matt Bakos, touted his product’s “NPN number” from Health Canada as proof that the product has been approved as safe for internal consumption.

NaturalNews investigated this claim.

Adya Clarity’s Top Distributor Issues Full Apology, Product Recall

Adya Clarity’s top distributor issues full apology, product recall (Natural News, Oct. 31, 2011):

Following days of shocking disclosures about the misleading labeling, fraudulent marketing and profiteering of a product called Adya Clarity, the product’s top distributor in North America, Raw Food World (Matt Monarch), has stepped forward to issue a full apology and a complete product recall.

Adya Clarity is a product made from inorganic minerals mined near Fukushima, Japan, then dissolved into sulfuric acid and bottled in the United States for sale as a dietary supplement promising to remove heavy metals from your brain, eliminate kidney stones, treat rheumatoid arthritis and many other health conditions, none of which were backed by clinical evidence (http://www.naturalnews.com/034005_A…). The aluminum content of the product had been intentionally hidden by the importer and manufacturer, Adya, Inc., which had also deceived Health Canada to acquire an NPN license as an “iron supplement” — a license which it proceeded to grossly violate (http://www.naturalnews.com/034022_A…).

Consumer Alert: Adya Clarity Contains 1200 Mg ALUMINUM SULFATE Per Liter

NaturalNews issues consumer alert about Adya Clarity, imported as battery acid and sold for internal consumption (NaturalNews, Oct. 28, 2011):

A product called Adya Clarity has been sweeping across the natural health community in the last year or so. It has been sold with recommendations for internal use — taking “super shots” — and often accompanied by wide-ranging claims that it treats cancer, kidney stones, hormone regulation, arthritis, and that it removes radiation and heavy metals.

Because so many readers have been asking me about Adya Clarity, I decided to look further into the issue. I was aided by some timely tips that came my way which I began to check out as an investigative journalist. What I found — much of which is detailed in this report — absolutely shocked me. But what do YOU think? Read my report and decide for yourself.

Unsubstantiated health claims

The claims that Adya Clarity is good for treating kidney stones, hair loss, arthritis and even cancer are, I discovered, entirely unsubstantiated for this product. There is simply no reliable clinical evidence supporting Adya Clarity to be safe or effective for any health condition whatsoever. Furthermore, there are many facets of this story that have raised red flags in my mind as the editor of NaturalNews.

For starters, Adya Clarity is primarily composed of sulfuric acid, iron sulfate and aluminum sulfate. Before being diluted and bottled, Adya Clarity starts out as Themarox, a mineral deposit mined in Japan just a few dozen miles away from Fukushima. This Themarox has a very acid pH value, near 0.5. In this state, aluminum sulfate is present in a concentration of 10.9 grams per liter, according to our research.

To make Adya Clarity, Themarox is diluted at roughly 10:1, raising the pH and diluting the sulfuric acid. Once bottled, Adya Clarity contains the following concentrations of metals and minerals, according to its label:

Iron: 2,000 PPM
Magnesium: 400 PPM
Calcium: 250 PPM
Potassium: 200 PPM
Manganese: 20 PPM
… and so on.

Do you see what’s missing from this list? The aluminum sulfate. By my calculations, given that the aluminum sulfate starts out at 10.9 grams per liter, the diluted form of Themarox — Adya Clarity — contains roughly 1.2 grams per liter of aluminum sulfate. This is 1200 mg per liter, which is almost exactly 1200 PPM (parts per million). (Source: The MSDS provided to me by Adya, Inc. as a Word document, see below. This also corresponds to the PPM of aluminum claimed by the manufacturer, Shimanishi Kaken Co.,Ltd.)

Curious as to why aluminum sulfate was not listed on the label in the appropriate order of concentrate (under Iron and above Magnesium), I contacted Matt Bakos, the owner and importer of Adya Clarity and asked him this question. The reason he didn’t list aluminum concentration on the label underneath iron, he told me, was because “I don’t want to.” He said it was listed as a “trace mineral” and that was sufficient. There was no need to list the 1200 PPM of aluminum in Adya because it “is not required,” he told me.

I bet many of the people who paid $100+ per bottle for Adya Clarity would also be interested to learn there’s quite a significant concentration of aluminum in the product they may have already begun ingesting.

Prof. Chris Busby Update On Supplements To Block Fukushima Radiation (Video)

Find supplements that do not contain artificial sweeteners like Aspartame.

Chris Busby updates Japan on what to do to reduce the risk of radiation damage from the contamination from the Strontium-90, Uranium and Plutonium dispersed widely over northern Japan.

First of all, evacuate the children and evacuate yourselves. The contamination of the ground and the food is a serious health hazard. Car air filter analysis shows the material on the ground becomes airborne and can be inhaled.

Get away If you can; but if not not then you can reduce the access of these radionuclides to the DNA. It is basic Physical Chemistry that increasing the Calcium concentration, (Calcium which stabilises the DNA phosphate backbone), will inhibit the equilibrium binding of radionuclides like Strontium, Uranium, Plutonium and other high DNAP affinity elements and complex ions.

The FDA Trilateral Cooperation Charter – The End Of Health Freedom As We Know It

“The Trilateral Cooperation Charter would allow the FDA to take part in a tyrannical regulatory scheme spanning the USA, Mexico and Canada, where many vitamins are outlawed and dietary supplements are severely restricted.

Read more about this latest threat to food freedom, which will undoubtedly criminalize raw milk too!”

FDA Trilateral Cooperation Charter – the end of health freedom as we know it (Natural News, Oct. 17, 2011):

As horrific as the recent US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) New Dietary Ingredient (NDI) guidelines are for health freedom (http://www.naturalnews.com/033482_F…), they are not necessarily the worst threat currently on the regulatory horizon. Far off the radar of most in the natural health community is the quietly-developing North American Trilateral Cooperation Charter (TCC), which threatens to merge the dietary supplement regulation guidelines of the US, Mexico, and Canada into a single, highly-restrictive regulatory paradigm.

The “Food & Nutrition” section of Health Canada’s “International Activities” website explains that TCC, which was officially signed by representatives from seven food, drug, health, and trade agencies of the three North American countries, is designed to “improve product safety” and “promote public health.” This is done by “facilitat[ing] the communication, collaboration, leveraging of resources, and the exchange of information on issues of mutual interest among the three countries” (http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/fn-an/intact…).

There are many problems with such a cooperative arrangement, but one specific area of particular concern is the document’s references concerning the collaboration of product regulation among the three countries. In the summary, Health Canada states that collaboration under TCC is “intended to cover all products,” including “dietary supplements, natural health products, and food.”

THEY WANT US DEAD! – Red Level Alert America (The Intel Hub, Sep. 30, 2011):

While we are all focusing on the coming financial collapse, as bad as that is something much more sinister is in the works.

It’s very subtle if you are not paying attention.  But, to the aware, it’s blatant, insidious, and just as horrific as Hitler’s Germany.

There is a small group of the world’s banking elite who have worked for a few hundred years with ingenious precision and unlimited money, to corral, coerce, and conquer every country of value on earth.

For people who are normal and not rabidly greedy, it’s hard to fathom the idea of anyone trying to get control of the whole world, and taking a chunk of every measure of value traded between its people.  What’s even harder to grasp is that they will stop at nothing to do it.  And I mean nothing! Look around you!

Scientists Find That Nanoparticles Destroy The Brain

Nanoparticles Cause Brain Injury in Fish (Science Daily, Sep. 18, 2011):

Scientists at the University of Plymouth have shown, for the first time in an animal, that nanoparticles have a detrimental effect on the brain and other parts of the central nervous system.

They subjected rainbow trout to titanium oxide nanoparticles which are widely used as a whitening agent in many products including paints, some personal care products, and with applications being considered for the food industry. They found that the particles caused vacuoles (holes) to form in parts of the brain and for nerve cells in the brain to die. Although some effects of nanoparticles have been shown previously in cell cultures and other in vitro systems this is the first time it has been confirmed in a live vertebrate.

The results will be presented at the “6th International meeting on the Environmental Effects on Nanoparticles and Nanomaterials” (21st — 23rd September) at the Royal Society in London.

Study: Lack Of Vitamin D Can Lead To Diabetes

Lack of vitamin D can lead to diabetes, study finds (NaturalNews, August 28, 2011):

The array of undiscovered health benefits afforded by high vitamin D intake is vast thanks to several new studies linking deficiency in this important hormone to diabetes.

One study published in the journal Diabetes Care explains that a simple 25 nanomole per liter (nmol/L), or 10 nanograms per milliliter (ng/mL), increase in blood levels of vitamin D results in a roughly 24 percent reduction in diabetes risk, while another study similarly reveals a correlation between high blood levels of vitamin D and reduced risk of diabetes.
