‘Jihadi bride’ arrested at Heathrow with her baby then bailed is the first to return to UK with a child born under ISIS in Syria

‘Jihadi bride’ arrested at Heathrow with her baby then bailed is the first to return to UK with a child born under ISIS in Syria:

A suspected jihadi bride who returned to the UK having given birth to a child under Islamic State rule in Syria has been bailed after she was arrested at Heathrow.

The woman, 27, whose identity has not been revealed arrived on a flight from Addis Ababa and was arrested on suspicion of preparation of terrorist acts under section 5 of the Terrorist Act 2006.

It is thought this is the first case of its kind involving a mother and a child born into the ISIS regime.

MI5 has previously said around 850 extremists from Britain travelled to the Middle East as ISIS took control of pockets of Syria and Iraq.

And as the terror group is flushed out of its former strongholds, many of its militants with British passports are returning home with their families.

The mother is the latest in a string of arrests made by British counter-terror police bracing itself for an influx of jihadi brides.

‘Real concern’ that returning militants may intend to use ‘low-grade WMD’ in Europe

‘Real concern’ that returning militants may intend to use ‘low-grade WMD’ in Europe:

One of the main differences between nuclear and chemical weapons is that many more people have the means to manufacture and deploy chemical armaments, according to Max Abrahms, assistant professor at Northeastern University.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said during a UN Security Council session on Thursday that Syrian militants were now capable of producing their own chemical weapons. He added that there is serious concern “over the growing threat of ‘chemical’ terrorism” in the Middle East.

“The militants not only use toxic chemicals, but also have their own technologies and production capabilities for the synthesis of fully fledged chemical warfare agents as well as established and branched channels for accessing the precursors,” Lavrov said.

Iran’s Rouhani warns of new US plot against Syria integrity

Iran’s Rouhani warns of new US plot against Syria integrity:

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has condemned a new US plan to set up a militant force near Syria’s border with Turkey, saying it constitutes a breach of international law and a plot against the Arab country’s sovereignty.

Rouhani made the remarks in a meeting with the Speaker of People’s Council of Syria Hammouda Youssef Sabbagh in Tehran on Tuesday on the sidelines of the 13th Session of the Parliamentary Union of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Conference.

“The plot that the Americans have recently hatched for Syria is against international law and a plot against the territorial integrity and security of Syria and the region,” Rouhani said.

The US announced on Sunday that it will work, along with a coalition of its allies purportedly fighting Daesh, with US-backed militants of the so-called Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) to set up a new 30,000-strong “border security” force.

New Video Emerges Of ISIS Convoys Leaving Raqqa Under US Coalition Watch

New Video Emerges Of ISIS Convoys Leaving Raqqa Under US Coalition Watch:

Submitted by Leith Fadel via Al-Masdar News,

New footage has recently emerged which offers further confirmation that the US coalition facilitated the exit of Islamic State terrorists from Raqqa when the city was liberated in October. Fighters of the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) confirmed from Raqqa that they had shot the footage showing militants of the self-proclaimed Islamic State (IS; formerly ISIL/ISIS) peacefully leaving Raqqa on their watch.

Thought to have been filmed towards the end of the battle for Raqqa, the footage shows buses and trucks carrying dozens of IS militants from the embattled city, according to one of the fighters.

This is the footage we shot. We still keep them,” said the SDF fighter in late November, holding the mobile phone on which the footage was recorded. “We saw them with our own eyes. I was on shift at the Grain Containers turnabout when IS were leaving. There were many of them, we were not afraid of them,” he said.

An investigative report by the BBC in early November alleged a “secret deal” that allowed hundreds of IS fighters to depart embattled Raqqa under the eyes of the SDF in early October, as the fight for the city was drawing to a close in early October.

The new footage was obtained from the SDF and published online a week ago. In the above clip, SDF members also confirm that they filmed the ISIS convoys leaving on their personal cell phones. The BBC also confirmed the deal which even allowed foreign fighters to relocate to different parts of Syria and even neighboring countries like Turkey.

The BBC leaked details of the deal in a bombshell report which began: “The BBC has uncovered details of a secret deal that let hundreds of IS fighters and their families escape from Raqqa, under the gaze of the US and British-led coalition and Kurdish-led forces who control the city.”

44 Numbers From 2017 That Are Almost Too Crazy To Believe:

2017 went by way too quickly.  Donald Trump’s first year in the White House shook up the entire planet, and nobody is quite sure what is going to happen next.

Personally, as 2017 began I was still having a hard time actually believing that Trump was going to be our president.  Once he was finally inaugurated on January 20th I was able to relax a little bit, but at that point I had no idea that I would soon be running for Congress here in Idaho as a pro-Trump candidate.

As 2018 begins, I think that it would be good to look back and remember some of the most important things that happened over the past 12 months.

The following are 44 numbers from 2017 that are almost too crazy to believe…

115 bodies of civilians & Syrian troops killed by ISIS recovered from 2 mass graves in Raqqa (VIDEO):

Two mass graves uncovered near the former terrorist stronghold of Raqqa became the final resting place for dozens of Syrians executed by ISIS. The effort to recover their remains is underway, with at least 115 bodies found so far.

After the liberation of the former capital of the self-styled Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS, ISIL) terrorist caliphate, two mass graves were discovered by returning civilians who then alerted the Syrian military of the gruesome find, Syria’s state SANA agency reported citing a field commander.

ISIS has over 10,000 fighters in Afghanistan, more arriving from Syria & Iraq – Moscow

ISIS has over 10,000 fighters in Afghanistan, more arriving from Syria & Iraq – Moscow:

The terrorist group Islamic State has over 10,000 loyal fighters in Afghanistan, and Moscow believes the US may be underestimating their threat, Russia’s special envoy says.

Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS) was pushed out of their home base in Syria and Iraq this year by separate military operations of a US-led coalition, and the Syrian Army backed by Russia. Many of the IS fighters who fled those countries ended up in Afghanistan, where the terrorist group has as many as 10,000 troops at the moment, Zamir Kabulov, the head of the Middle East department in the Russian Foreign Ministry, said.

“Russia was among the first nations to ring alarm about the expansion of IS into Afghanistan,” he told RIA Novosti. “Lately IS has boosted its presence in the country. Our estimate is that their force there is stronger than 10,000 troops and is continuing to grow. That includes new fighters with combat experience received in Syria and Iraq.”

The Ultimate In Irony: Syrian Army Rolls Into Idlib With US Weapons Captured From ISIS:

Authored by Leith Fadel and Andrew Illingworth of Al-Masdar News,

The Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) Tiger Forces arrived in northern Hama this week with a big surprise from their previous operations in the Deir Ezzor Governorate. Units from the Tiger Forces were seen armed with US-manufactured weapons that were seized from the Islamic State (ISIS) during the two month long battle in Deir Ezzor.

According to a military source in Hama, the Syrian Army’s Tiger Forces are planning to use the US-manufactured weapons against the jihadist rebels in the upcoming battle for the Idlib Governorate. Among the US-manufactured weapons transferred to the Idlib front were a large number of TOW missiles that were previously supplied by Washington to the rebel forces in Syria before they were later sold to the Islamic State.
