Martini Meltdown (Ice Age Now, Sep 29, 2014):

Sea-ice in the Arctic. That ice ain’t melting and the polar bears are thriving.

Martini Meltdown

By Dr. Klaus L.E. Kaiser

The Sunday Times has reached a new height of incoherence with its science editor’s, (Jonathan Leake) column on Arctic ice cap in ‘death spiral.’

Nothing could be further from the truth. The ice cover in the Antarctic has recently reached a new all-(recorded)-time extent and the ice cover in the Arctic appears to be on a similar path. No wonder as the frost-free days in the Arctic, above 80 N have been fewer in the last two summers and the last winter in North America was brutally cold and long.

The Great Global Warming Swindle (Full Documentary)

Originally broadcasted March 8, 2007 on British Channel 4.

A documentary, by British television producer Martin Durkin, which argues against the virtually unchallenged consensus that global warming is man-made. A statement from the makers of this film asserts that the scientific theory of anthropogenic global warming could very well be “the biggest scam of modern times.”

‘Historic’: 300,000+ March in NYC for Climate Action (Common Dreams, Sep 21, 2014)

World stages ‘biggest ever’ climate change march (PHOTOS, VIDEO) (RT, Sep 21, 2014):

Not even a gloomy sky could dampen the spirits of climate activists Sunday, as up to 310,000 marched through New York City pushing for international action against global warming. Thousands of rallies across the world called on governments for change.

Described by organizers as the largest climate-related event in the history of the planet, the People’s Climate March had people lined up across nearly 30 New York City blocks before the event began. According to organizers, the crowd’s numbers easily blew past original projections, which estimated that some 100,000 would attend.

Among the participants were high-profile names such as UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, former Vice President and Nobel Peace Prize winner Al Gore, and actor Leonardo DiCaprio – a newly appointed UN representative. Local presence was also strong, with New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio joining the procession, as well as City Council.

Scientists: Extent Of Antarctic Sea Ice Cover At Highest Level Since Records Began

Global Un-Warming? Antarctic Sea-Ice Reaches Record High Levels (ZeroHedge, Sep 15, 2014):

In what appears to be an awkward moment of uncomfortable fact, ABC reports satellite imagery reveals an area of about 20 million square kilometres covered by sea ice around the Antarctic continent – the highest level of coverage since records began. This is the 3rd year in a row that the sea ice coverage has reached a record level – increasing at 1.5% each decade since 1979. However, there is another side to this, as the area covered in sea ice expands scientists have said the ice on the continent of Antarctica which is not over the ocean continues to deplete. The climate is changing, one way or the other.

Calgary’s summer snowstorm cleanup could take weeks – Thousands of trees toppled to the ground

Calgary’s summer snowstorm cleanup could take weeks (Ice Age Now, Sep 12, 2014):

Thousands of trees toppled to the ground.

Thanks to a massive volume of snow and an abundance of leaves still on trees, thousands of trees toppled to the ground creating carnage in neighbourhoods and to the power grid.

The city reports some 2,000 trees had collapsed onto roads and thousands more had fallen on private property, though the full extent of the damage wasn’t known.

Wyoming: “Pick the tomatoes, put away the hose, and clear a spot in the garage” – Already 18 inches (45 cm) of snow in some areas

Wyoming – “Pick the tomatoes, put away the hose, and clear a spot in the garage” (Ice Age Now, Sep 12, 2014):

Already 18 inches (45 cm) of snow in some areas.

“Pick the tomatoes, put away the hose, and clear a spot in the garage, it’s going to snow and/or freeze tonight, says the National Weather Service. “And not just in the mountains this time!”

Climate Change: The Skeptic’s Case – ‘The Climate Models Got ALL Their Major Predictions Wrong’

H/t reader squodgy:

“The Rothschilds AGAIN…..”

Dr. David M.W. Evans consulted full time for the Australian Greenhouse Office (now the Department of Climate Change) from 1999 to 2005, and part time 2008 to 2010, modeling Australia’s carbon in plants, debris, mulch, soils, and forestry and agricultural products. Evans is a mathematician and engineer, with six university degrees including a PhD from Stanford University in electrical engineering. The area of human endeavor with the most experience and sophistication in dealing with feedbacks and analyzing complex systems is electrical engineering, and the most crucial and disputed aspects of understanding the climate system are the feedbacks. The evidence supporting the idea that CO2 emissions were the main cause of global warming reversed itself from 1998 to 2006, causing Evans to move from being a warmist to a skeptic.

The Skeptic’s Case (Ludwig von Mises Institute, Feb 24, 2012):

We check the main predictions of the climate models against the best and latest data. Fortunately the climate models got all their major predictions wrong. Why? Every serious skeptical scientist has been consistently saying essentially the same thing for over 20 years, yet most people have never heard the message. Here it is, put simply enough for any lay reader willing to pay attention.

Arctic Ice Cap Covers 656,000 Sq Miles MORE Than 2 Years Ago

Arctic ice cap covers 656,000 sq miles MORE than 2 years ago (Ice Age Now, Aug 31, 2014):

Daily Mail trashes Al Gore’s prediction that the Arctic would be ICE-FREE by now.

Stunning satellite images show summer ice cap is thicker and covers 1.7 million square kilometres MORE than 2 years ago…despite Al Gore’s prediction it would be ICE-FREE by now,” reads the headline.

“The North Polar ice cap is falling off a cliff. It could be completely gone in summer in as little as seven years. Seven years from now,” said Al Gore in 2007 as he accepted the Nobel Peace Prize for his campaign to fight so-called “global warming”.

Australian Bureau Of Meteorology Caught Red-Handed Manipulating Temperature Records

Australian Bureau of Meteorology caught red-handed manipulating temperature records (Ice Age Now, Aug 30, 2014):

Accused of criminally adjusting data to show “global warming” where none actually exists.

“At Amberley, Queensland, for example, the data at a weather station showing 1 degree Celsius cooling per century was “homogenized” (adjusted) by the Bureau so that it instead showed a 2.5 degrees warming per century,” says this article on Brietbart.com.

“At Rutherglen, Victoria, a cooling trend of -0.35 degrees C per century was magically transformed at the stroke of an Australian meteorologist’s pen into a warming trend of 1.73 degrees C per century.

“Last year, the Australian Bureau of Meteorology made headlines in the liberal media by claiming that 2013 was Australia’s hottest year on record.

“But we now know, thanks to research by Australian scientist Jennifer Marohasy, that the hysteria this story generated was based on fabrications and lies.
