90% Of The World’s Glaciers Are GROWING:

A new NASA study, released on Friday, admits that ice is accumulating in Antarctica.

Satellite measurements show an 82-112 gigaton-a-year net ice gain. That’s 82-112 billion tons per year! Nine zeroes!

112,000,000,000 tons. Per year.

It’s hard to comprehend how much ice that really is, so let’s put it in perspective.

Let’s assume that they’re talking short tons (2,000 lbs). That’s about the weight of an old VW Beetle.

Those old Beetles measured 14 feet long.  Multiply 112 billion by 14 feet and you get 1,560 billion feet. Divide that by the distance from the earth to the moon (239,000 miles),  and you’d have a string of VW Beetles stretching all the way to the moon.

Not once, not twice, but 45 times.  All the way to the moon.

That’s a helluva lot of new ice. Every single year. And we’re worried about global warming?

Antarctica Gaining More Ice Than Losing

Antarctica Gaining More Ice Than Losing:

Antarctica has been accumulating more ice than it’s been losing in recent decades, a new study by NASA has revealed, challenging existing theories on climate change and rises in sea levels.

The paper, entitled “Mass gains of the Antarctic ice sheet exceed losses,” was published in the Journal of Glaciology on Friday.

The authors of the study, who are from NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, the University of Maryland and Sigma Space Corporation, analyzed satellite data showing that Antarctica gained 112 billion tons of ice annually from 1992 to 2001.

More Than 13 Feet Of Snow Mount Rainier, WA By Monday Evening

More than 13 feet of snow Mount Rainier, WA by Monday evening:

Four meters of snow in just four days!

As of yesterday morning, NOAA was predicting between 122 and 162 inches of snow (10 to 13½ FEET!) on Mt. Rainier at higher elevations.

Combined with 65 mph winds and temperatures in the 20-30 degree Fahrenheit range, wind chills will drop to near zero Fahrenheit.

NOAA Refuses to Hand Over Climate Change Documents to Congress

NOAA Refuses to Hand Over Climate Change Documents to Congress:

Last summer, scientists published a study that challenged the notion that global warming has been slowing down in recent years. Their analysis was based on temperature data that was provided by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Since that time, Congressman Lamar Smith has asked NOAA for the data and internal communications that were related to the study, but they have refused to hand them over.

On October 13th, Smith filed a subpoena for the documents. The Congressman has long been skeptical of climate change, and has accused NOAA of fabricating temperature data. Smith told The Examiner that “Congress cannot do its job when agencies openly defy Congress and refuse to turn over information…When an agency decides to alter the way it has analyzed historical temperature data for the past few decades, it’s crucial to understand on what basis those decisions were made. This action has broad national and policy implications.”

“Strange how the similarity between the Financial Markets Graphs and the Historical Climate Temperature Graphs hasn’t been picked up on.

Or is it like all disinfo subjects, not politically correct?”
