Pentagon: US Airstrike on Hospital “May Have Killed Civilians”

Pentagon: US Airstrike on Hospital “May Have Killed Civilians”:

(ANTIWARAdding to concerns about the civilian toll of the US air war against ISIS targets, the Pentagon yesterday admitted that they carried out an airstrike against the parking lot of a Mosul hospital, conceding that they “may have killed civilians” in the attack.

The Pentagon’s Combined Joint Strike Force said in a statement that they were after a van they suspected of carrying ISIS fighters, and they blew it up in the parking lot of what “was later determined to be a hospital.” The US has previously insisted all hospital sites in Mosul were well known and that they were taking extreme care not to hit civilians.

PETITION: Ban Weaponized Drones from the World

H/t reader sqoudgy:

“The mere mention of ‘Drones’ and their weaponisation by the US jesuit/jew Neocons conjures images of the “Terminator’ movies.

terminator-drone

How can we sit passively as our world drifts into the former fantasy images of the movies.

We jokingly refer to our need for Sarah Connor, but as we discover ALL our so called ‘Civilised Nations’ possess and actively use robot drones to kill innocents all over the world, the question takes on an urgency.”

Due Process? A Drone Was Used To Blow Up A US Citizen Without Trial This Week:

The Dallas shootings have ushered in a very new world for US citizens. For the very first time, drones have been used on US soil to kill Americans without trial or charges. The suspected shooter in yesterday’s tragic killings, US Army veteran Micah Xavier Johnson, was, according to police and press reports, holed up in a parking garage and would not give himself up. After hours of what police claimed were fruitless negotiations with Johnson, a weaponized robot was sent to where he was hiding and blown up, taking Johnson with it.

Get past the horror of what Johnson was accused of doing and think about that precedent for a moment. Is it not chilling?

White House clears small, commercial drones for takeoff

White House clears small, commercial drones for takeoff:

Routine use of small drones by real estate agents, farmers, filmmakers and countless other commercial operators was cleared for takeoff by the Obama administration Tuesday, after years of struggling to write rules that would both protect public safety and free the benefits of a new technology.

The Federal Aviation Administration announced the creation of a new category of aviation rules designed specifically for drones weighing less than 55 pounds. The long-anticipated rules mean commercial operators can fly drones without special permission.

The Russians Have Already Shot Down Numerous US Drones Violating Crimean Airspace:

And one of them, the mother of all drones, the massive Northrop Grumman RQ-4 Global Hawk, was apparently commandeered by Russian electronic warfare and landed in Simferopol

The war you don’t hear about: numerous American military aircraft (albeit of the unmanned variety, though with the possibility of being armed and dangerous) have apparently been violating Russian airspace, leading to the Russians shooting – yes, shooting – them down following the refusal of the Americans to acknowledge Russian diplomatic notes of protest.

The military violation of the territory, including the airspace, of a sovereign state is ordinarily taken to be a casus belli – an act of war.

Russia developing kamikaze drone that hits target & detonates – report:

One of the drone models used by Russia is to be modified to be used as a kamikaze, Russian media said. Such drones can be used to suppress enemy air defenses or to provide tactical-level air support to units in the field.

“A drone which would act similar to a fire ship is being developed now. It detonates after hitting a target,” a defense source told TASS.

I’m on the Kill List. This is what it feels like to be hunted by drones

drone cartoon

I’m on the Kill List. This is what it feels like to be hunted by drones:

I am in the strange position of knowing that I am on the ‘Kill List’. I know this because I have been told, and I know because I have been targeted for death over and over again. Four times missiles have been fired at me. I am extraordinarily fortunate to be alive.

I don’t want to end up a “Bugsplat” – the ugly word that is used for what remains of a human being after being blown up by a Hellfire missile fired from a Predator drone. More importantly, I don’t want my family to become victims, or even to live with the droning engines overhead, knowing that at any moment they could be vaporized.

The US Government Just Killed 150 People In A Country That They Aren’t Even At War With

Game of Drones

The US Government Just Killed 150 People In A Country That They Aren’t Even At War With:

This week, the US government used drones and airstrikes to fire missiles and drop bombs in a country that they aren’t at war with, killing at least 150 people. This act of aggression took place in Somalia, where the US military regularly stages drone strikes and other attacks, despite the fact that they have not declared war on the country. The government claims that every single one of the victims were “militants” or terrorists, however, they have not revealed the identities of the victims and have not provided any evidence to support their claims.

Area 6 revealed: Top-secret Nevada facility rumored to be where the Pentagon tests high-tech unmanned drones to detect terrorist dirty bombs is as ultra hush-hush as the more infamous Area 51:

A shielded Nevada airbase used by government agencies to test unmanned aircraft has shown up on Google Earth.

Area 6, which was once used for underground nuclear testing, is located in Yucca Flat and is part of the Nevada National Security Site, where 1,000 nuclear tests were conducted between 1945 and 1992.

Four tests and six detonations happened in Area 6 according to a report by the US Department of Energy.

Now, the airbase, which has a 5,000-feet runway, houses aircraft tests for federal agencies such as the Department of Defense and that of Homeland Security, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported.

WATCH: Pentagon Testing Top-Secret Swarming ‘Micro-Drones’ Launched from Fighter Jets:

The truth is slowly becoming stranger than fiction in the modern police/warfare state. Recently declassified information about an experiment out of the little known Strategic Capabilities Office (SCO) backs up this notion and is cause for major concern.

The SCO was launched in 2012 as a means of secretly strategizing for a war against China and Russia. Outside of this one video, they just released, very little is known about their experiments or weapons building.

Pentagon admits using drones to spy on Americans

Pentagon admits using drones to spy on Americans:

The Department of Defense has admitted to using Predator and Reaper military drones in the US since 2006, according to an internal review. Inspectors for the Pentagon concluded that the missions were few in number and had not violated any laws.

report by the Pentagon’s Inspector General (IG), dated March 2015, looked at instances when unmanned aerial surveillance (UAS) aircraft – commonly known as drones – have been flown over US territory and found them “fully compliant with laws, regulations and national policies for UAS support to domestic civil authorities.” It was made public on Wednesday, following a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request by the newspaper USA Today.

And So It Begins: American Police Start Pushing to Weaponize Domestic Drones

So It Begins: American Police Start Pushing to Weaponize Domestic Drones:

Police are now voicing their concerns about domestic drone use — specifically, they want the option to be able to employ weaponized drones in the future, should the need arise.

As if police brutality and aggression weren’t already an epidemic in the United States, police departments in Connecticut oppose a bill to outlaw the weaponization of drones. The bill also addresses unmanned aerial vehicles fitted with cameras, and their potential to violate the privacy rights of individuals. But law enforcement departments in the state appear far more concerned with being deprived of the possibility of arming them with weapons, rather than cameras.

US Govt Admits to Killing Innocent Civilians During Failed Assassination Attempt of British Hacker

US Govt Admits to Killing Innocent Civilians During Failed Assassination Attempt of British Hacker:

“With nearly 10,000 air strikes, we’re taking out their leadership, their oil, their training camps, their weapons,” Obama stated during his farewell State of the Union address earlier this month. Conveniently, in those 10,000 air strikes, he failed to include the bombings of hospitals, weddings, tribal council meetings, and, at least, eight U.S. citizens, with no concern for due process or a constitutionally mandated fair trial.

Today, This Grandmother Is Going to Jail for Peacefully Protesting the US Drone War:

On Tuesday, a New York grandmother returned to jail on previous charges filed against her for protesting U.S. drone warfare in 2013. Mary Anne Grady Flores, 58, was photographing other activists as they peacefully protested armed drones at the Syracuse Hancock Air Base in February 2013.

Judges in the town of DeWitt, where the base is located, had issued “orders of protection” to activists in order to keep them away from the base. Under these orders, often issued by courts to protect victims of domestic violence, Col. Earl A. Evans, a commander at the base, was construed as a “victim” of the protests.

The Story You Aren’t Being Told About Iran Capturing Two American Vessels

The Story You Aren’t Being Told About Iran Capturing Two American Vessels:

(TFC) Tehran, Iran – The airwaves in the United States were filled with images of sailors on their knees while a US Navy vessel was searched. Unjustified outrage swept the nation. The US Secretary of Defense blamed the incident on a simple navigation error, however a chain of events leading back to 2009 demonstrates the facts are a little more complicated than first appear. The chain of events leads defense analysts to one unmistakable conclusion: Iran has the ability to disrupt US GPS systems. For western military analysts, the thought is terrifying. The West uses GPS for much more than replacing a compass and a map.

UK Intelligence Committee to be denied access to drone strike information:

Members of the UK’s Parliamentary intelligence watchdog will not be allowed access to all intelligence or defence information relating to the new British practice of targeted killing by drone, the Prime Minister has said.

David Cameron was asked today by Andrew Tyrie MP whether the Intelligence and Security Committee (ISC) would be allowed to examine the military aspect of the targeted killing programme, and whether he would commit to the Committee’s security-cleared members being able to see all the relevant intelligence.

In Desperate Push to Retain Drone Pilots, the U.S. Air Force Will Offer $125,000 Re-Enlistment Bonus

Game of Drones

In Desperate Push to Retain Drone Pilots, the U.S. Air Force Will Offer $125,000 Re-Enlistment Bonus:

The fact that the U.S. Air Force has been struggling to attract and retain drone pilots has been well documented. For example, take the following excerpts from a November article in the LA Times:

Experienced pilots and crews complain of too much work, too much strain and too little chance for promotion operating the Predator and Reaper drones that provide surveillance and that fire missiles in Iraq, Syria and other war zones. Partly as a result, too few young officers want to join their ranks.

The Air Force has struggled with a drone pilot shortage since at least 2007, records show. In fiscal year 2014, the most recent data available, the Air Force trained 180 new pilots while 240 veterans left the field.

Some pilots also complain of the anguish and emotional damage that comes with murdering women and children while pretending to be in a video game. Recall the following from the post, Drone Whistleblower Claim – Pilots Often High on Drugs; Refer to Children as “Fun Size Terrorists”:

Two U.S. Military Servicemen Claim the Doctors Without Borders Hospital Was Intentionally Targeted:

Over the last month or so, there’s been a bit of a flurry of U.S. military members with conscience coming forward to tell the truth about incidents or practices they deem unethical.

For example, just last month, four former drone operators came forward to denounce the program publicly, coupled with a letter addressed to President Obama. As noted in the post, Drone Whistleblower Claim – Pilots Often High on Drugs; Refer to Children as “Fun Size Terrorists”:

Drone Whistleblowers Have Their Bank Accounts And Credit Cards Frozen For Exposing US Murder

Drone Pilots have Bank Accounts and Credit Cards Frozen by Feds for Exposing US Murder:

For having the courage to come forward and expose the drone program for the indiscriminate murder that it is, 4 vets are under attack from the government they once served.

The U.S. Government failed to deter them through threats of criminal prosecution, and clumsy attempts to intimidate their families. Now four former Air Force drone operators-turned-whistleblowers have had their credit cards and bank accounts frozen, according to human rights attorney Jesselyn Radack.

“My drone operators went public this week and now their credit cards and bank accounts are frozen,” Radack lamented on her Twitter feed (the spelling of her post has been conventionalized). This was done despite the fact that none of them has been charged with a criminal offense – but this is a trivial formality in the increasingly Sovietesque American National Security State.
