– Shocking Government Report Finds $6.5 Trillion In Taxpayer Funds “Unaccounted For”:

Last week, we first touched on a topic which, in any non-banana republic, would be a far greater scandal than what Ryan Lochte may or may not have been doing in a Rio bathroom: namely, government corruption, falsification and potential fraud and embezzlement, which has resulted in the Pentagon being unable to account for up to $8.5 trillion in taxpayer funding.

Today, Reuters follows up on this disturbing issue, and reveals that the Army’s finances are so jumbled it had to make trillions of dollars of improper accounting adjustments to create an illusion that its books are balanced. The Defense Department’s Inspector General, in a June report, said the Army made $2.8 trillion in wrongful adjustments to accounting entries in one quarter alone in 2015, and $6.5 trillion for the year. Yet the Army lacked receipts and invoices to support those numbers or simply made them up.

At the same time that Russia is condicting its latest massive military drill on the border with Ukraine, and one day after the latest stark warning by Ukraine’ president Poroshenko that the simmering conflict with Russia may be set to explode again when he said on national TV that “the probability of escalation and conflict remains very significant” adding that “we don’t rule out full-scale Russian invasion”, Russian president Putin made a not so subtle point that Crimea will not be relinquished when he flew into contested territory on Friday, one day after staging war games there, and said he hoped Ukraine would see “common sense” when it came to resolving a diplomatic crisis over the peninsula.

Officially, Putin arrived on a working visit in Crimea, where he held a briefing with members of the Russian Security Council and visited the Tavrida international youth forum, a RIA Novosti correspondent reported Friday. The schedule of Putin’s visit to Crimea, at least his fifth in the past two years, also involves meetings with local officials, according to local media reports that broke news of the visit this week.

Leaks from billionaire George Soros’ Open Society Foundations (OSF) have revealed the group has a list of MEPs it considers “reliable allies” which includes IRA bomber Martina Anderson. Documents show the NGO, which works worldwide to mould government policies, set up “informal groups” of MEPs to advance the hedge fund manager’s goals.

A paper released in the dump of thousands of hacked internal documents entitled “reliable allies in the European Parliament 2014-19? revealed the OSF sought to build closer links with 226 MEPs they believe share some of the group’s interests. Among the British MEPs listed is IRA terrorist Martina Anderson who was arrested alongside Brighton bomber Patrick Magee.  Anderson was arrested twice and convicted for causing, and planning to cause, explosions.

One of the major issues of the migrant crisis is Germany and elsewhere has been the economic impact the massive wave of  migrants will have in Europe. While some experts initially were optimistic about a potential vast new source of skilled labour, most economists have come to the conclusion that the migrants who have arrived are for the most part unskilled and poorly educated.

Yet in own Saxon town, they have moved past the usual barriers but the migrants have declared they don’t want to work anyway, reports OE24.

A paper leaked from the Open Society Foundation claims that the European migrant crisis is an opportunity for the foundation to reform migration laws and raise more money from donors.

A leaked paper entitled “Migration Governance and Enforcement Portfolio Review,” authored by Open Society employees Anna Crowley and Kate Rosin shows that the foundation sees great opportunity in the European migrant crisis to raise money and push their pro-migrant agenda.

The document is one of the most recently created of the leaks, having been written in May of this year and sheds light as to how the organization – which has been linked to promoting Somali migrants and funding anti-police organizations like Black Lives Matter – views the migrant crisis.

Tourists in the central square of Austria’s capital fled in terror as Kurdish protesters and opposition Turks attacked each other with pepper spray.

A demonstration over the weekend left at least one police officer injured in the central square of Vienna known as Stephansplatz where the St. Stephan’s cathedral dominates the skyline. Authorities say that the clash came as the result of the Kurdish protest that was marching along the road past the Vienna State Opera House and down to the cathedral.

Turkish opposition protesters are said to have provoked the Kurds into fighting, both sides utilizing pepper spray with tourists caught in the middle reports Der Standard.

German police have announced the arrest of a young man who is alleged to have been plotting to bomb a town festival near the German capital of Berlin.

Police in the Brandenburg region of Germany near the Polish border said the 27-year-old suspect was linked to known Salafist groups and the motive for the bombing would have been in sympathy of Islamist causes. Brandenburg Minister President Dietmar Woidke said that the man had planned to carry out the bombing at the end of August in the town of Eisenhüttenstadt, reports Kurier.

(REUTERS) – Serbia detained over 3,000 migrants illegally entering into the country in one month, a military spokesman said, suggesting many were still trying to make their way along a Balkan corridor to the European Union despite border closures.

Balkan countries along the route processed hundreds of thousands of migrants over their borders last year, but clamped down in February to stop the mass influx and many migrants now resort to people smugglers to try to reach the EU.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents working with Mexican immigration officials have found thousands of non-Hispanic illegal immigrants crossing Mexico’s southern border to make their way to Texas. The “extra-continental” immigrants enter countries as far south as Brazil and make their way to the United States, often with forged travel documents.

“The reality is that the vast majority of the people that Mexico encounters [on its southern border] that are extra-continental will eventually end up on our border,” a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) official told Reuters this week. The Reuters article confirmed the Syrian nationals reported at the Mexican border with Laredo last year by Breitbart Texas’s Brandon Darby and Ildefonso Ortiz are part of this growing pattern of illegal migration. Just a few days after that, Darby and this writer broke the news of six men from Pakistan and Afghanistan being arrested about sixteen miles inside the United States in Arizona. Those men were quickly snatched up from the Border Patrol’s custody by the FBI. Shortly after that, five more Syrian Nationals were detained at the Laredo port of entry.

Just to prove the US isn’t the only place where governments seek to cure symptoms rather than diseases for political benefit, Venezuela’s Interior Minister, Nestor Reverol, launched a campaign in Caracas to “disarm” citizens in an effort to curb rampant violence.  Venezuela has the world’s second highest murder rate which Reverol attributes, at least in part, to heavily armed gangs roaming the streets with guns that they apparently acquire from “corrupt” police officers.  To address the violent crime issue, Venezueala has decided to chop up over 2,000 shotguns and pistols and laser tag ammunition as apparently the majority of ammunition used for violent crime in the country is manufactured by the state and “sold by corrupt police” as well.  We’re noticing a trend here.  Per Reuters:
