Billionaire investor Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway has disclosed in multiple filings this month, the latest on Monday, that it is continuing to reduce its stake in Bank of America, locking in sizeable gains. This comes as Berkshire’s cash pile surged to a record in the first quarter, as Buffett has recently complained about the lack of meaningful deals.

Berkshire Hathaway began purchasing shares in late 2011 when they were around the $6 handle and has long been Bank of America’s top shareholder. However, Buffett is now taking a profit, selling about 71.2 million shares this month over the $40 handle.

Nearly half of the Bitcoin owed to Mt. Gox creditors has been distributed, but after a decade of waiting, many creditors are still holding onto their coins.

Over 41.5%, or 59,000 Bitcoin from the total of 141,686 BTC, has been redistributed to creditors of the defunct Mt. Gox exchange.

Despite receiving nearly $4 billion worth of Bitcoin, the Mt. Gox creditors aren’t selling, according to a July 29 Glassnode report.

“Creditors opted to receive BTC, rather than fiat, which was new in Japanese bankruptcy law… As such, it is relatively likely that only a subset of these distributed coins will be truly sold onto the market.”

“Thousands of people descended on central Caracas on Monday evening, some walking for miles from slums on the mountains surrounding the city, towards the presidential palace,” writes BBC. A handful of other cities have also witnessed unrest Monday, confirms CNN: “Protests were also reported in other cities, including Maracay, where opposition activist Esthefania Natera told CNN that people were on the streets “to yell and demand to tell the truth because we know the real results.” The coastal state of Falcón saw demonstrators topple a statue of leftist icon and Maduro mentor Hugo Chavez, according to activists posting video on social media.

Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin has ordered a review of the Medals of Honor awarded to 20 U.S. Army soldiers for their role in a deadly armed clash at Wounded Knee Creek, South Dakota, on Dec. 29, 1890.

The memorandum Mr. Austin wrote on July 19, which the Department of Defense published last week, directs the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness to form a special panel to review the Medal of Honor citations and other supporting documentation for the awards. The panel will then decide whether each soldier’s conduct warranted a Medal of Honor, the highest U.S. military decoration for valor.

An Apache Indian named “Keanu Dude” has been accused of starting a massive wildfire in the state of Arizona…by setting fire to the American flag.

The wildfire eventually burned over 2,200 acres, according to a report by the New York Post.

Dude was arrested Tuesday for allegedly starting the Watch Fire, the report says. The Post wrote the fire “burned 3.4 square miles, destroyed 21 homes, and forced over 400 people to evacuate reservation land before being contained last week, officials said.”
