Opposition to 5G continues to increase worldwide due to numerous significant issues associated with the technology. 5G doesn’t seem to be the “end goal” though – it’s 6G which is also highly controversial. Nevertheless, the World Economic Forum (WEF), the U.S. government (see 1, 2), as well as a growing number of companies and universities (see 1, 2, 3) have been working on 6G applications for various purposes which also includes using human bodies as power sources for electronic devices. Of course, some experts say this too has its downsides.
