    It could be part of the worldwide tectonic unrest, which may be being caused by planetary distortions and extra solar system influence.
    It could be politically driven HAARP ELF stimulation to further the interests of the ptb and create another excuse for military intervention of the civil population. i.e. Martial Law & FEMA camps..
    It could be a natural 400,000 year and well overdue cycle.
