Denmark, ranked 20th in economic complexity in 2015, has a mostly even trade balance, and $50K GDP per capita in 2016, making it among one of the richest nations in the world.
Moreover, Danish GDP-per-capita growth led in the Nordics for the past ten years, from 2007 to 2016: Denmark +28.5%, Sweden +22.0%, Norway +14.6% Finland +12.2%. Although Denmark exports substantial agricultural and natural resource-based products, they are also major players in pharmaceuticals and machinery. Top companies include AP Møller-Mærsk, Novo Nordisk, Vestas, and Danske Bank, representing shipping, pharma, clean energy, and finance.

U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley repeated her prior threats to punish criticism of Israel on Monday, boasting about creating a climate of fear at the U.N. in which other diplomats are frightened to speak to her about recent efforts to condemn Israel’s illegal colonization of the West Bank.
Haley was addressing the annual conference of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee – the powerful Washington, D.C. lobby whose self-described goal is to “strengthen, protect and promote the U.S.-Israel relationship.” Each year, thousands of delegates and students descend on D.C. for the forum, where the most senior politicians of both parties — from presidential candidates to Congressional leadership – often speak.
Haley received thunderous applause and a standing ovation from the crowd, a reception rivaled only by what they gave Israel’s prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, when he spoke to the conference by satellite.

Iodine-131 has a half-life of only 8 days, so what was measured in January are long gone,” Bøhmer says to the Barents Observer. A possible ongoing release is supported by measurements in Finland a week before the trace was detected in Norway’s northeasternmost corner…

A study which examined ancient remains concluded that cancer is an entirely man-made disease caused by our modern day lives.
The study, which tested ancient mummies, and examined fossils and classical literature, found that tumours were rare until such a time on our planet when pollution and poor diet became a real negative issue.
A visiting professor at Manchester University, Michael Zimmerman, who carried out the investigation with his colleague Rosalie David, explained that during such a time when there was no surgical intervention, there should have been evidence of the disease which claims more than 150,000 lives a year in the UK alone. But this was not the case.

Fox News issued an unusual on-air apology for allowing its anchors and guests to repeat the suggestion that there are Muslim “no-go zones” in European countries such as Britain and France.
