   Predictions regarding the Planet X system’s presence in our Solar System, and its potential encounter with the Asteroid Belt which is situated beyond Mars (and which some theories claim is the destroyed remnants of a previous planet) also predict an increase in meteor encounters with Earth, resulting from physical and gravitational disturbance in the belt by the visiting system.
