Multiple People Stabbed At Neo-Nazi Rally In Sacramento:

Multiple people were stabbed Sunday outside the Capitol in Sacramento after clashes between neo-Nazis and counter-demonstrators took place the LA Times is reporting.

A neo-Nazi group had planned an event at the site for several weeks, and there was an effort on social media for others to stage a counter-protest.

Here is how the neo-Nazi group describes itself according to the LA Times

The group describes itself this way on its website: “The Traditionalist Worker Party is America’s first political party created by and for working families. Our mission is defending faith, family, and folk against the politicians and oligarchs who are running America into the ground. We intend to achieve that goal by building a nationwide network of grassroots local leaders who will lead Americans toward a peaceful and prosperous future free from economic exploitation, federal tyranny, and anti-Christian degeneracy.”

Emergency vehicles are on the scene to provide medical aid, in what the Sacramento Fire Department described as a “mass casualty event”, whereby at least five people have been rushed to the hospital, some with critical injuries.

Multiple people were stabbed during a rally on Sunday at the state capitol in Sacramento, California, the fire department said on Twitter.

Five people were transported to area hospitals after the “mass casualty incident”, some with critical trauma stab wounds, the fire department said.

The Sacramento Police Department said on Twitter that it had closed some areas to traffic during a protest at the capital and in a second message said that it had a public information officer on scene at the capitol.

Television footage on the Sacramento Bee website appeared to show a confrontation between a crowd dressed in black and a camera man and a television reporter, though it was not clear if this was the same incident that produced the stabbings.

The Bee said “anti-fascist protesters” had confronted a TV crew from local broadcaster KCRA at the California Capitol.

Explosions could be heard at the event and pepper spray filled the air according to Twitter reports.
