When Germany crushed the Greek people, their votes and desires, forcing their embattled leaders to violate their promises of no new debt completely, we said Germany had effectively taken over the EU. This time, they using finances instead of guns in order to rule Europe; but with the threat of penalties to other European nations, they have moved too quickly.
I don’t think the EU nations realized the takeover was so complete. She is flexing Germany’s muscles far too quickly. If European leaders have any backbone left, they will act now to push back on Germany’s imperialism.
Unfortunately, the refugees might be the ones to suffer instead of Germany, time will soon tell.
