– Snow in Calgary on a chilly Labor Day weekend (Ice Age Now, Sep 8, 2015):
“There’s nothing like a bit of summer snow to signal the change in seasons,” says the Calgary Herald.
Some Calgarians woke up Sunday to a sprinkling of the unseasonable white stuff.
Environment Canada was forecasting a dismal high of 9°C Sunday. Monday looks to be barely warmer, with a high of 11°C.
Typical highs for this time of year are closer to 19°C.
