  1. The greedy guts are in power. Multinational corporations, and their economic best interest now have precedence over the ones of American workers, or any small business.
In a shopping mall in my area, there was a wonderful cafeteria style restaurant, similar to Harry’s Hoff Brau in my old area on the San Mateo, CA peninsula. It was clean, they cut the beef or turkey right there in front of one, pick the side dishes, drinks and desserts desired. It was immaculate, the owner took payment at the register.
It was a place many often went to eat before going to shop……
It was very successful, packed people into the mall every day.
They threw it out because it was not corporate owned, it was independent.
We protested, managed to keep him in business for a while, but they made his life so miserable, he left.
I am happy to report better than half the stores in that mall are now sealed up…..they are losing their shirts. But, the greedy guts don’t care, it is all about going to one chain for mattresses, another for bedding, others for clothes, but all have to be internationally operated chains.
What kind of country allows such railroading of a good business?
One that is corporate owned and operated.
Part time employees are cheaper for greedy guts, so why have full time workers?
It is going to get worse, not better. The trade deal guarantees we will lose another 40% of our jobs……thanks mr obama.
