  1. Oh, God, how I wish we had a parliamentary system of government here. Instead, our short sighted founders chose a republic far too similar to that of Ancient Rome, and it has been completely hijacked by corporate stooges.

How I wish we had more than a couple of junior congress members who “speak out” when the deal is already done. This year, it is Sanders and Warren…….it never goes anywhere. Look how well Obama spoke as a junior senator and how he behaved once in office. He took his specialized knowledge to destroy what was left of our constitution………………our system is rotten to the core, already other countries look far more inviting for life.

We are finished. In the EU there are powerful oligarchs at work, but it won’t be as easy as it was in the US. The US had 50 states, lots of real estate, and only one government. Much easier than a group of 28 nations, all with their own laws and systems……..greedy guts are going to have a real challenge, far more difficult than in the US. The US has been hijacked, but the EU will be far more difficult, thank goodness.

I hope the EU learns by our example and does not hand everything over to the greedy guts.
