  1. Dr. George Carlo,

Have you ever done or considered participating in a study utilizing infrared thermography to document the effects of EMF or RF frequencies.

I have done some amateur medical thermology documenting the increase of blood-flow to the fingers after placing rotating magnets under the individuals feet.

I had the opportunity to meet a research scientist with the DOD in October of 2006 who has done some fascinating work with IR showing the correlation of the pores on the body being directly associated with the electrical impulses picked up through polygraph tests. Dr. Barbara O’kane is the Principal Scientist for Human Performance at Night Vision Labs, Ft. Belvior VA. The paper was titled “Dynamic High Resolution Thermograms of Human Skin.

My limited knowledge of the human body from 9 years as an EMT along with other presentations at Inframation conferences have led me to the following theory.

Through conversation with an individual with EMF sensitivities as well as review of various worldwide studies, EMF affects the cognitive processes and the parasympathetic nervous system. If this is the case, it would also affect the sympathetic nervous system – leading to increased/decreased blood flow, variations in energy emitted by neurotransmitters and so on.

If this is true, the effects should be able to be measured through either the pores or through physiological manifestations resulting from increased/decreased blood flow and the effects on the nervous system.

I have talked with Dr. Brioschi, a post-doctoral fellow at the Pain Center, Department of Neurology, University of Sao Paulo Medical School about this theory and he believes it is plausible and highly likely that we can document the effects.

Please let me know what you think and if you are interested in discussing this with you.

With the research your have been doing, I am very interested in your opinion, as I feel the ramifications to this problem are huge. You can reach me by e-mail at [email protected] or at 319.530.0315 during the weekday and 319.231.9874 any other time of the day or week.
