– Russian “Doomsday Plane” Flies For 4th Consecutive Day; Accompanies Putin On Spiritual Mission (ZeroHedge, April 27, 2014):
Following three consecutive days of missions by the Russian “Doomsday Plane”, i.e. the Tupolev Tu-214SR communication relay aircraft, which as we reported first on Friday, has been circling in proximity to Finland, above the island of Valaam in Lake Ladoga, moments ago, deep in the Russian night, the plane which traditionally accompanies Putin took off from Moscow’s Vnukovo airport and is once again making loops over Valaam island (flight can be tracked in real-time for the next several hours with FlightRadar24).
It appears that the reason for the now daily flights centered on the island of Valaam, is that Putin is visiting his “spiritual mentor” in a monastery located on the island far from the mainland, the Valaam monastery is one of the Russian Orthodox Church’s holiest and most isolated sites.

As we previously reported the Tu-214R is a Russian version of the U.S. E-4B, an airborne command and control role, most recently sean above Sochia and above Crimea more recently. As The Aviatonist summarizes, “while NOTAMs can expose the position of the Admiral Kutsnezov aircraft carrier, Mode-S transponder on Russia’s “doomsday” plane will most probably tell you where Putin is.”
Then again, it is likely that Russia is aware that the entire world can track Putin based on a free public website, so one probably shouldn’t put it beyond Russia to maybe just send the plane on a wild goose chase now and then so that it doesn’t telegraph to the entire world where Putin may be found next…
He is playing a very sophisticated chess game, and he is doing an excellent job. I remember how fool Americans would call Obama a chess players, and the republicans checkers. I have been playing chess since I was four, the older brother who taught me grew up to be the developer of the first computer based chess games, chess played on many levels……..
And, I can assure you, Obama isn’t a chess player. He might have played video games growing up, but I doubt it……he has proved himself an average guy who was picked years ago and groomed to be made president.
Since I heard he was the first editor of the Harvard Review ever to be made editor without submitting a single paper for publication……..it was pretty obvious he was the first American Manchurian candidate. He appears to be cracking up on the subject of Putin……Putin exposed him for the cowardly game he was playing with Syria, planning to attack them regardless 90% of Americans didn’t want more corporate enriching wars at taxpayer expense.
He didn’t care what we wanted or thought, but the idea of Putin hitting back made him run like a cur……and for that, he cannot forgive Putin.
We need to pull the CIA out of the Ukraine and Syria before Putin does it for us. He was head of the KGB for years, and he isn’t easily fooled by these old, worn out murderous tricks.
Americans are broke, and war weary. Their leaders ignore them when they request again and again better schools, roads, hospitals, infrastructure, jobs and growth. He doesn’t care, he serves the corporate oligarchy.
US media still presents him as a friend of the people. The rest of us know better.
