Five British personnel killed in Afghan helicopter crash (The Times, April 26, 2014):

Five British military personnel were killed when their helicopter crashed in Afghanistan today in the deadliest air disaster in eight years involving UK forces in the warzone.

The Ministry of Defence confirmed that one of its aircraft, believed to be a Westland Lynx, had crashed.

The process of informing the families of the dead is underway.
