Here in Northern CA, which until recently was an area of CA with four seasons, it is hotter than hell. Christmas Eve, I ran the A/C. Christmas looks like Summer, it sucks. The climate has just locked on this endless, miserable sunshine and hot, horrible weather………..it is like living in a Science Fiction horror……….we have had no rain for a year. We got showers a couple of weeks ago that lasted an evening…….it was so hot, it evaporated any moisture.
Of all climates, I abhor the desert the most, and that is what it is becoming like here.
Last year at this time, we had 16 inches of rain, very light for us, but promising. This year, barely an inch with no change in sight.
