AND NOW: Obama Says Republicans Are ‘Invested In Failure’ Of Health-Care Rollout

Obama says Republicans are ‘invested in failure’ of health-care rollout (Washington Post, Nov 19, 2013):

President Obama acknowledged on Tuesday that the rollout of his signature health-care program “has been rough, to say the least,” but he directed some of the political blame to congressional Republicans, whom he characterized as rooting for failure.

Obama sought to assure a gathering of business executives that fixes to the HealthCare.gov Web site are underway and that the online marketplaces should be functioning for a majority of people by the end of November. The president said “we’re gonna have time to catch up,” but he argued that Republican lawmakers are making success more difficult.

“One of the problems we’ve had is that one side of Capitol Hill is invested in failure,” Obama said at The Wall Street Journal’s CEO Council meeting in Washington.

Of the health-care law’s rollout, Obama added, “We’re going to have to obviously re-market and re-brand, and that will be challenging in this political environment.”

Obamacare Is An Epic Disaster? Just Blame The Republicans (ZeroHedge, Nov 19, 2013):

Whoever bet money on the prop bet that Obama would finally blame the epic debacle that is Obamacare on the republicans can now retire.

  • OBAMA SAYS ONE REASON FOR ROCKY HEALTH CARE ROLLOUT WAS THAT REPUBLICANS ON “ONE SIDE OF THE HILL” WERE INVESTED IN ITS FAILURE

Because it was obviously the Republicans who sabotaged the 3+ year rollout of Obamacare, and handpicked the “outside” contractors who made healthcare.gov such a smashing success. At least Bush walked away unscathed.

And now back to watching Obama as he channels the TOTUS.
