Tepco Adviser: Fukushima contaminated water ‘problem’ will go on until all 3 molten fuel cores are somehow removed — Company “simply not capable of handling the extremely difficult issue” (ENENews, Sep 14, 2013):

AP, Sept. 14, 2013: Dale Klein, a former NRC chairman who was also in Tokyo as a TEPCO adviser, said Friday that the contaminated water problem would last “for at least a decade” until planned removal of molten fuel that needs constant cooling begins. “Water would be an issue that TEPCO would have to pay attention for a long time,” he said.

ABC News, Sept. 14, 2013: […] TEPCO, [Klein] believes, is simply not capable of handling the extremely difficult water issue, a problem that, he says, they will be dealing with “for the next decade.”
