When Kurt and Megan Kegler’s phone rang at their mobile home outside Detroit, the future looked grim.

When the mystery gambler was $35,000 up he quit the table, and handed the proceeds to the Keglers in a giant bag of hundred dollar chips .
Their three-year-old daughter, Madison, had been diagnosed with a brain tumour and they were $35,000 (£21,000) in debt.
But when they heard what the caller had to say, they broke down in tears, hardly able to believe their ears. He was a mysterious, high-rolling Las Vegas gambler who had been choosing needy families to give them his winnings. “You have been chosen,” the voice told the Keglers. “I’m flying you to Vegas, and I’m going to win your money for you.” What followed seemed like a dream. A stretch limousine to the airport, first-class flights and a Rolls Royce to their 8,000 square-foot suite in the Palazzo hotel. There, Mr Kegler, 48, and his wife, 29, were met by their benefactor, who promptly staked huge amounts of his own money in a marathon card session.
It wasn’t plain sailing on the blackjack table, despite his confidence: the Keglers saw him go down hundreds of thousands of dollars before he managed to hit a winning streak and recover.
When he was $35,000 up he quit the table, and handed the proceeds to the Keglers in a giant bag of hundred dollar chips. “It completely changed everything,” said Mrs Kegler.
Since the episode a year ago, which has become part of Las Vegas folklore, rumours have swept Sin City about the identity of the secretive card player who wants to give his money away. He is even said to have been spotted handing out hundred dollar bills on the Las Vegas strip.
So who is this gambling Good Samaritan? He calls himself “Robin Hood 702” and runs a website on which he promises to milk the casinos and give the proceeds to the poor. The number 702 refers to the Las Vegas postal code area. Anyone down on their luck is invited to send in their story and, every so often, “Robin” selects someone to help.
The only criterion is that the amount they need must not exceed $50,000 – he isn’t that wealthy. As well as the Keglers, he also recently selected a woman from Charleston, South Carolina, who had run up medical bills caring for her elderly parents and won the $20,000 she needed. In April he offered to pay for a holiday in Las Vegas for the crew of the Maersk Alabama, the US ship attacked by Somali pirates.
Little is known about “Robin”. He has given television interviews, but with his face in shadow. He is known to be teetotal, white and tall. He prefers to dress in jeans and a T-shirt. Casino bosses regard him as a “whale”, one of the elite high rollers for whom nothing is too much trouble. He has won and lost six-figure sums in a single night.
His aim, he says, is simple. “I’m going to take the dark side associated with gambling and use it for good.” He plans to select another hard-up family to help in the New Year and he has plenty to choose from: there have been as many as 300 applications in a single day to his website.

In September 2008, my largest customer started playing with their payments. They’d say that a check would be ready at the of the week . no check..
From time to time, I would receive check but not enough to cover even that 1 past week of shipping. I was obligated to borrow at a very high interest rate to keep up with this particular customers’ un reliability. A mistake maybe. December 2008, I got fed of the games, and I sent his file to a collection agency and cease doing any business with them ever. The customer did not respect any agreements hence, his file was turn over to Maitre Radolphe Maruca, my lawyer. This situation remained unresolved I was seeing no end to this dilemma, constantly having to borrow at that high interest. Finally threw many months of discussion between my lawyer and the customers lawyer, we came to an agreement out of court. I wrote off thousands of dollars. In September 2009, his final payment cleared my account. I was projecting positive vibes that if the economy stays as it was in September, I would be out of hot waters by the end of my fiscal year. I started seeing a drop in the economy in October up until January 2010.
Since December, 2009, I have been on the phone, networking, trying to build up my company, and so far things are getting there, I had a few conversations that look very promising. I have full intension of paying your bills.
January 2010, We looked over the books to find out that I am running with a deficit of 44K. I have been in constant contact with my lawyer, a trustee, my accountant and all my transporters. We are doing everything imaginable to avoid bankruptcy. I just want to pull the ship up.
I have receive various job offers, and investor offer (blood sucking parasite types),..
This company is my pride and joy, and this entire situation has struck my pride deeply. I am a registered company, not incorporated. If the company goes down, so do I. I am also working with my accounted to obtain my Incorporation this year but I must settle.
This situation has caused havoc on my health and state of mind. II count constantly, I suffer from anxiety attacks and insomnia. This situation has taken its toll on both my professional and personal life. I do not want to give up and I will not throw in the towel. So please if you are out there, Modern day Robin Hood, I beg it of you, please help.

With their salary, they can only,survive, but now, sometimes, I can see a smile on their faces.However, some of them (mostly) have mental disorders because they have the deep scars on the face and body,in Home for children, there are lots of abused children, from the war. Unfortunately some of them have eye near ear, that is strong deformation. I know about work of our doctor – specialist for plastic,
aesthetic and reconstructive surgery finished Faculty with 9,23, than he finished specialization in Military Academy in Belgrade then in Austria, I asked him to operate them gratis and he agreed, but he needs more equipment. I said that I will try to help and now disabled people called me every day asking to be operated.I live normally, but I can not close my eyes and not see someone else’s suffering.The doctor needs only one laser to make gratis surgery for 13 disabled one of above mentioned disabled need surgery One of them has eye near ear and he needs face reconstruction. He doesnt have a good quality of life. I am working in the Governmental Agency, I dont need anything for myself, I finished Economy faculty, You can have my services gratis. Our country has certain places such as city Sipovo which is showing a perfect harmony of mountains and rivers flow, I wish to realize the project, it would be referred to the ethnic village, including medical tourism.
